ئەگەر ئەتەوێت دوعاکانت قبووڵ بێت، ئەم دوعایە بخوێنە

To have your duʿās answered

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، الْأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ، الَّذِي لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدَ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، الْمَنَّانُ، يَا بَدِيعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ، يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ.

Allāhumma innī as'aluka bi-annī ash-hadu annaka anta Llāhu lā ilāha illā anta, al-Aḥadu ṣ-Ṣamad, alladhī lam yalid wa-lam yūlad, wa-lam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥad.

Allāhumma innī as'aluka bi-anna laka l-ḥamd, lā ilāha illā anta waḥdaka lā sharīka lak, al-Mannān, yā Badīʿa s-samāwāti wa-l-arḍ, yā Dhā l-jalāli wa-l-ikrām, yā Ḥayyu yā Qayyūm.

خودایە، داوات لێدەکەم بەوەی شایەتی دەدەم کە تۆ خودای، هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە تۆ، تاک و بێنیاز، کە نە منداڵی بووە و نە لەدایک کراوە و هیچ کەس هاوتای نییە. خودایە، داوات لێدەکەم بەوەی هەموو ستایش بۆ تۆیە، هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە تۆی تاک و بێهاوبەش، بەخشندە، ئەی داهێنەری ئاسمانەکان و زەوی، ئەی خاوەنی شکۆ و ڕێز، ئەی زیندوو، ئەی ڕاگری هەموو شت.

O Allah, I ask You by my witnessing that You are Allah — there is no god but You, the One, the Eternal Refuge, who neither begets nor is begotten, and to whom none is equal. O Allah, I ask You by the fact that all praise belongs to You — there is no god but You alone, no partner beside You, the Bestower of favours, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Possessor of majesty and honour, Ever-Living, Sustainer of all.

زیکری تەوحید — دڵ ئارام دەکاتەوە و خەم لادەبات

Remembrance that settles the heart

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ الْمُبِينُ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ الْعَدْلُ الْيَقِينُ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّ آبَائِنَا الْأَوَّلِينَ، سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ، وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ، بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ، وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ إِقْرَارًا بِرُبُوبِيَّتِهِ، سُبْحَانَ اللهِ خُضُوعًا لِعَظَمَتِهِ.

Lā ilāha illā Llāhu l-Maliku l-Ḥaqqu l-Mubīn, lā ilāha illā Llāhu l-ʿAdlu l-Yaqīn, lā ilāha illā Llāhu Rabbunā wa-Rabbu ābā'inā l-awwalīn, subḥānaka innī kuntu mina ẓ-ẓālimīn, lā ilāha illā Llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahu l-mulku wa-lahu l-ḥamd, yuḥyī wa-yumīt, wa-huwa ḥayyun lā yamūt, bi-yadihi l-khayr, wa-ilayhi l-maṣīr, wa-huwa ʿalā kulli shay'in qadīr, lā ilāha illā Llāhu iqrāran bi-rubūbiyyatih, subḥāna Llāhi khuḍūʿan li-ʿaẓamatih.

هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە خودا، پاشای ڕاست و ئاشکرا. هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە خودا، دادپەروەری دڵنیا. هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە خودا، پەروەردگاری ئێمە و پەروەردگاری باوباپیرانمان. پاکی بۆ تۆ، بەڕاستی من لە ستەمکاران بووم. هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە خودای تاک و بێهاوبەش؛ موڵک و ستایش هی ئەوە، ژیان دەبەخشێت و دەمرێنێت، ئەو زیندووە و نامرێت. خێر بە دەستی ئەوە و گەڕانەوە بۆ لای ئەوە، و ئەو بەسەر هەموو شتێکدا توانایە.

There is no god but Allah, the Sovereign, the Manifest Truth. There is no god but Allah, the Just, the Certain. There is no god but Allah, our Lord and the Lord of our forefathers. Glory be to You — I have been among the wrongdoers. There is no god but Allah alone, no partner beside Him; His is the dominion and His is the praise; He gives life and death, and He is Living and does not die. In His hand is all good, to Him is the return, and He has power over all things. There is no god but Allah — in acknowledgement of His lordship; glory be to Allah — in submission to His greatness.

ئەگەر مرازێکی گەورەت هەیە — ڕۆژانە ٧ جار، تا ٧ ڕۆژ

For a great need — seven times a day, for seven days

يَا اللهُ، يَا رَحْمَٰنُ، يَا رَحِيمُ، يَا خَالِقُ، يَا رَازِقُ، يَا بَارِي، يَا مَالِكُ، يَا قَادِرُ، يَا حَكِيمُ، يَا سَمِيعُ، يَا بَصِيرُ، يَا غَفُورُ، يَا رَحِيمُ.

Yā Allāh, yā Raḥmān, yā Raḥīm, yā Khāliq, yā Rāziq, yā Bārī, yā Mālik, yā Qādir, yā Ḥakīm, yā Samīʿ, yā Baṣīr, yā Ghafūr, yā Raḥīm.

ئەی خودا، ئەی بەخشندە، ئەی میهرەبان، ئەی دروستکەر، ئەی ڕۆزیدەر، ئەی داهێنەر، ئەی خاوەنی موڵک، ئەی توانادار، ئەی دانا، ئەی بیسەر، ئەی بینەر، ئەی لێبووردە، ئەی میهرەبان.

O Allah, O Most Compassionate, O Most Merciful, O Creator, O Provider, O Originator, O Owner of all, O All-Powerful, O All-Wise, O All-Hearing, O All-Seeing, O Ever-Forgiving, O Most Merciful.

The Qurʾān teaches its own duʿās. These are the plural ones — asked on behalf of everyone at once, never only for yourself.

بۆ قبووڵکردنی کردەوە و ماندووبوونەکانت

For your work to be accepted

رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ.

Rabbanā taqabbal minnā, innaka anta s-Samīʿu l-ʿAlīm.

پەروەردگارمان، لێمان وەربگرە. بەڕاستی تۆ بیسەر و زانایت.

Our Lord, accept this from us. Truly You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

Qurʾān 2:127 — Ibrāhīm and Ismāʿīl at the Kaʿbah

پێش ڕووبەڕووبوونەوەی شتێکی گەورە

Before facing something larger than you

رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ.

Rabbanā afrigh ʿalaynā ṣabran wa-thabbit aqdāmanā wa-nṣurnā ʿalā l-qawmi l-kāfirīn.

پەروەردگارمان، ئارامی بەسەرماندا بڕێژە، پێمان جێگیر بکە، و بەسەر گەلی بێباوەڕدا سەرکەوتوومان بکە.

Our Lord, pour patience upon us, make our feet firm, and give us victory over the disbelieving people.

٦

بۆ سووکبوونی بار و لێخۆشبوون

For the load to be lightened

رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ ۖ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا ۚ أَنتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ.

Rabbanā lā tu'ākhidhnā in nasīnā aw akhṭa'nā. Rabbanā wa-lā taḥmil ʿalaynā iṣran kamā ḥamaltahu ʿalā lladhīna min qablinā. Rabbanā wa-lā tuḥammilnā mā lā ṭāqata lanā bih. Wa-ʿfu ʿannā wa-ghfir lanā wa-rḥamnā. Anta mawlānā fa-nṣurnā ʿalā l-qawmi l-kāfirīn.

پەروەردگارمان، لێمان مەگرە ئەگەر لەبیرمان کرد یان هەڵەمان کرد. پەروەردگارمان، بارێکی قورسمان مەخەرە سەر وەک ئەوەی خستە سەر ئەوانەی پێش ئێمە. پەروەردگارمان، ئەوەمان لێ مەکە هەڵیبگرین کە توانای هەڵگرتنیمان نییە. لێمان ببوورە، لێمان خۆش بە، و بەزەییمان پێدا بێتەوە. تۆ یاریدەدەرمانیت، کەواتە بەسەر گەلی بێباوەڕدا سەرکەوتوومان بکە.

Our Lord, do not take us to task if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, do not lay on us a burden like the one You laid on those before us. Our Lord, do not burden us with what we have no strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.

Qurʾān 2:286 — the closing of al-Baqarah
٧

بۆ ئەوەی دڵت لادەنەدات دوای ڕێنمایی

That the heart not swerve after guidance

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ.

Rabbanā lā tuzigh qulūbanā baʿda idh hadaytanā wa-hab lanā min ladunka raḥmah, innaka anta l-Wahhāb.

پەروەردگارمان، دڵمان لامەدە دوای ئەوەی ڕێنماییت کردین، و لە لایەن خۆتەوە بەزەییمان پێببەخشە. بەڕاستی تۆ زۆر بەخشندەیت.

Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from Yourself. Truly You are the Ever-Giving.

Qurʾān 3:8
٨

بۆ لێخۆشبوونی گوناهەکان و پاراستن لە ئاگر

Forgiveness, and shelter from the Fire

رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ.

Rabbanā innanā āmannā fa-ghfir lanā dhunūbanā wa-qinā ʿadhāba n-nār.

پەروەردگارمان، بەڕاستی ئێمە باوەڕمان هێنا، کەواتە گوناهەکانمان لێ خۆش بە و لە سزای ئاگر بمانپارێزە.

Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

Qurʾān 3:16
٩

بۆ ئەوەی لەگەڵ شایەتەکاندا بنووسرێیت

To be written among the witnesses

رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ.

Rabbanā āmannā bimā anzalta wa-ttabaʿnā r-rasūla fa-ktubnā maʿa sh-shāhidīn.

پەروەردگارمان، باوەڕمان هێنا بەوەی داتبەزاندووە و شوێن پێغەمبەرەکە کەوتین، کەواتە لەگەڵ شایەتەکاندا بمانووسە.

Our Lord, we believe in what You have sent down and we follow the Messenger, so write us among those who bear witness.

Qurʾān 3:53
١٠

کاتێک زیادەڕەوی کردووە و پێت لەرزیوە

When you have overreached and lost your footing

رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ.

Rabbanā ghfir lanā dhunūbanā wa-isrāfanā fī amrinā wa-thabbit aqdāmanā wa-nṣurnā ʿalā l-qawmi l-kāfirīn.

پەروەردگارمان، گوناهەکانمان و زیادەڕەویمان لە کارەکانماندا لێ خۆش بە، پێمان جێگیر بکە، و بەسەر گەلی بێباوەڕدا سەرکەوتوومان بکە.

Our Lord, forgive us our sins and our excesses in our affairs, make our feet firm, and give us victory over the disbelieving people.

Qurʾān 3:147
١١

کاتێک سەیری ئاسمان و زەوی دەکەیت

Looking at the sky and the earth

رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَٰذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ.

Rabbanā mā khalaqta hādhā bāṭilan subḥānaka fa-qinā ʿadhāba n-nār.

پەروەردگارمان، تۆ ئەمەت بەفیڕۆ دروست نەکردووە. پاکی بۆ تۆ — لە سزای ئاگر بمانپارێزە.

Our Lord, You did not create this in vain. Glory be to You — protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

Qurʾān 3:191 — of those who reflect on creation
١٢

بۆ سڕینەوەی خراپەکان و مردن لەگەڵ چاکەکاران

To be gathered with the righteous

رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ.

Rabbanā fa-ghfir lanā dhunūbanā wa-kaffir ʿannā sayyi'ātinā wa-tawaffanā maʿa l-abrār.

پەروەردگارمان، گوناهەکانمان لێ خۆش بە، خراپەکانمان بسڕەوە، و لەگەڵ چاکەکاراندا بمانمرێنە.

Our Lord, forgive us our sins, blot out our bad deeds, and take us in death among the righteous.

Qurʾān 3:193
١٣

بۆ ئەوەی لە ڕۆژی قیامەتدا شەرمەزار نەبیت

Not to be disgraced on the Day of Rising

رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ.

Rabbanā wa-ātinā mā waʿadtanā ʿalā rusulika wa-lā tukhzinā yawma l-qiyāmah, innaka lā tukhlifu l-mīʿād.

پەروەردگارمان، ئەوەمان پێبدە کە لەسەر زاری پێغەمبەرەکانت بەڵێنت پێداوین، و لە ڕۆژی قیامەتدا شەرمەزارمان مەکە. بەڕاستی تۆ بەڵێن مەشکێنیت.

Our Lord, give us what You promised us through Your messengers, and do not disgrace us on the Day of Rising. Truly You do not break Your promise.

Qurʾān 3:194
١٤

کاتێک ڕاستی دەبینیت و دڵت دەلەرزێت

When the truth reaches you

رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ.

Rabbanā āmannā fa-ktubnā maʿa sh-shāhidīn.

پەروەردگارمان، باوەڕمان هێنا، کەواتە لەگەڵ شایەتەکاندا بمانووسە.

Our Lord, we have believed, so write us among those who bear witness.

Qurʾān 5:83
١٥

کاتێک ستەمت لە خۆت کردووە

When you have wronged yourself

رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ.

Rabbanā ẓalamnā anfusanā wa-in lam taghfir lanā wa-tarḥamnā lanakūnanna mina l-khāsirīn.

پەروەردگارمان، ستەممان لە خۆمان کرد، و ئەگەر لێمان خۆش نەبیت و بەزەییت پێماندا نەیەتەوە، بێگومان لە زیانمەندان دەبین.

Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy on us we will surely be among the losers.

Qurʾān 7:23 — the duʿāʾ of Ādam
١٦

بۆ ئارامگرتن و مردن بە موسڵمانی

For patience, and to die in submission

رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ.

Rabbanā afrigh ʿalaynā ṣabran wa-tawaffanā muslimīn.

پەروەردگارمان، ئارامی بەسەرماندا بڕێژە و بە موسڵمانی بمانمرێنە.

Our Lord, pour patience upon us, and take us in death in submission to You.

Qurʾān 7:126 — the magicians before Firʿawn
١٧

بۆ ڕزگاربوون لە دەستی ستەمکاران

Deliverance from oppressors

رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ ۝ وَنَجِّنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ.

Rabbanā lā tajʿalnā fitnatan li-l-qawmi ẓ-ẓālimīn, wa-najjinā bi-raḥmatika mina l-qawmi l-kāfirīn.

پەروەردگارمان، مەمانکە بە تاقیکردنەوە بۆ گەلی ستەمکار، و بە بەزەیی خۆت لە گەلی بێباوەڕ ڕزگارمان بکە.

Our Lord, do not make us a trial for the wrongdoing people, and deliver us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people.

Qurʾān 10:85–86 — the people of Mūsā
١٨

بۆ خۆت و دایک و باوکت و هەموو باوەڕداران

For yourself, your parents, and all the believers

رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ.

Rabbanā ghfir lī wa-li-wālidayya wa-li-l-mu'minīna yawma yaqūmu l-ḥisāb.

پەروەردگارمان، لە من و دایک و باوکم و هەموو باوەڕداران خۆش بە، لەو ڕۆژەی حساب دەکرێت.

Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers on the Day the reckoning is established.

Qurʾān 14:41 — the duʿāʾ of Ibrāhīm
١٩

کاتێک نازانیت چی بکەیت

When you do not know what to do next

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا.

Rabbanā ātinā min ladunka raḥmatan wa-hayyi' lanā min amrinā rashadā.

پەروەردگارمان، لە لایەن خۆتەوە بەزەییمان پێببەخشە و لە کارەکەماندا ڕێنمایی ڕاستمان بۆ ئامادە بکە.

Our Lord, grant us mercy from Yourself and prepare for us right guidance in our affair.

Qurʾān 18:10 — the People of the Cave
٢٠

بۆ لێخۆشبوون و بەزەیی

Forgiveness and mercy

رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

Rabbanā āmannā fa-ghfir lanā wa-rḥamnā wa-anta khayru r-rāḥimīn.

پەروەردگارمان، باوەڕمان هێنا، کەواتە لێمان خۆش بە و بەزەییمان پێدا بێتەوە، و تۆ باشترینی بەزەییدارانیت.

Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best of those who show mercy.

Qurʾān 23:109
٢١

بۆ دوورخستنەوەی سزای دۆزەخ

That the punishment be turned away

رَبَّنَا اصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا.

Rabbanā ṣrif ʿannā ʿadhāba jahannam, inna ʿadhābahā kāna gharāmā.

پەروەردگارمان، سزای دۆزەخمان لێ دوور بخەرەوە. بەڕاستی سزاکەی بەردەوامە.

Our Lord, turn away from us the punishment of Hell. Its punishment is a lasting torment.

Qurʾān 25:65
٢٢

بۆ هاوسەر و منداڵ — ڕووناکی چاو

For a spouse and children — coolness of the eyes

رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا.

Rabbanā hab lanā min azwājinā wa-dhurriyyātinā qurrata aʿyunin wa-jʿalnā li-l-muttaqīna imāmā.

پەروەردگارمان، لە هاوسەر و منداڵەکانمان ڕووناکی چاومان پێببەخشە، و بمانکە بە نموونە بۆ لەخواترسان.

Our Lord, grant us from our spouses and our children coolness of the eyes, and make us a model for those who are mindful of You.

Qurʾān 25:74

بۆ لابردنی ڕق و کینە لە دڵ

To take rancour out of the heart

رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ.

Rabbanā ghfir lanā wa-li-ikhwāninā lladhīna sabaqūnā bi-l-īmāni wa-lā tajʿal fī qulūbinā ghillan li-lladhīna āmanū, Rabbanā innaka Ra'ūfun Raḥīm.

پەروەردگارمان، لە ئێمە و لەو براکانمان خۆش بە کە پێش ئێمە باوەڕیان هێناوە، و لە دڵماندا هیچ ڕقێک مەخە بۆ ئەوانەی باوەڕیان هێناوە. پەروەردگارمان، بەڕاستی تۆ دڵنەرم و میهرەبانیت.

Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith, and put no rancour in our hearts toward those who believe. Our Lord, You are Kind, Merciful.

بۆ پشتبەستن بە خودا

Placing your trust

رَبَّنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ.

Rabbanā ʿalayka tawakkalnā wa-ilayka anabnā wa-ilayka l-maṣīr.

پەروەردگارمان، پشتمان بە تۆ بەستووە، بۆ لای تۆ گەڕاوینەتەوە، و گەڕانەوە بۆ لای تۆیە.

Our Lord, in You we have put our trust, to You we turn, and to You is the return.

بۆ ئەوەی نەبیتە تاقیکردنەوە بۆ خەڵکی

Not to become a trial for others

رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا رَبَّنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ.

Rabbanā lā tajʿalnā fitnatan li-lladhīna kafarū wa-ghfir lanā Rabbanā, innaka anta l-ʿAzīzu l-Ḥakīm.

پەروەردگارمان، مەمانکە بە تاقیکردنەوە بۆ ئەوانەی بێباوەڕ بوون، و لێمان خۆش بە. پەروەردگارمان، بەڕاستی تۆ بەهێز و دانایت.

Our Lord, do not make us a trial for those who disbelieve, and forgive us. Our Lord, You are the Mighty, the Wise.

Qurʾān 60:5
٢٦

بۆ تەواوکردنی ڕووناکی

That your light be completed

رَبَّنَا أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ.

Rabbanā atmim lanā nūranā wa-ghfir lanā, innaka ʿalā kulli shay'in qadīr.

پەروەردگارمان، ڕووناکیمان بۆ تەواو بکە و لێمان خۆش بە. بەڕاستی تۆ بەسەر هەموو شتێکدا توانایت.

Our Lord, complete our light for us and forgive us. Truly You have power over all things.

Qurʾān 66:8 — said on the Day of Rising

Threeڕەببی — دوعاکانی قورئان بە تاک١٩

And these are the singular ones — the prophets alone with their Lord, in the exact words the Qurʾān kept.

بۆ منداڵێکی پاک و چاک

For righteous children

رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً ۖ إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ.

Rabbi hab lī min ladunka dhurriyyatan ṭayyibah, innaka Samīʿu d-duʿā'.

پەروەردگارم، لە لایەن خۆتەوە نەوەیەکی چاکم پێببەخشە. بەڕاستی تۆ بیسەری دوعایت.

My Lord, grant me from Yourself good offspring. Truly You hear every call.

٢٨

بۆ خۆت و خوشک و برات

For yourself and your brother or sister

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِأَخِي وَأَدْخِلْنَا فِي رَحْمَتِكَ ۖ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

Rabbi ghfir lī wa-li-akhī wa-adkhilnā fī raḥmatik, wa-anta arḥamu r-rāḥimīn.

پەروەردگارم، لە من و براکەم خۆش بە و بمانخەرە ناو بەزەییتەوە، و تۆ میهرەبانترینی میهرەبانانیت.

My Lord, forgive me and my brother and admit us into Your mercy. You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.

٢٩

بۆ جێگیربوون لەسەر نوێژ، خۆت و نەوەکانت

To be kept established in prayer

رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ.

Rabbi jʿalnī muqīma ṣ-ṣalāti wa-min dhurriyyatī, Rabbanā wa-taqabbal duʿā'.

پەروەردگارم، بمکە بەوەی نوێژ بەپا دەکات، و لە نەوەکەشم. پەروەردگارمان، دوعاکەم لێ وەربگرە.

My Lord, make me one who establishes the prayer, and from my offspring too. Our Lord, and accept my call.

Qurʾān 14:40 — the duʿāʾ of Ibrāhīm
٣٠

بۆ دایک و باوک

For your parents

رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا.

Rabbi rḥamhumā kamā rabbayānī ṣaghīrā.

پەروەردگارم، بەزەییت بەو دووانەدا بێتەوە وەک چۆن لە بچووکیدا پەروەردەیان کردم.

My Lord, have mercy on them both as they raised me when I was small.

٣١

بۆ دەستپێکردن و کۆتاییهێنانی هەر شتێک بە ڕاستی

Entering and leaving anything — a move, a job, a room

رَّبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَاجْعَل لِّي مِن لَّدُنكَ سُلْطَانًا نَّصِيرًا.

Rabbi adkhilnī mudkhala ṣidqin wa-akhrijnī mukhraja ṣidqin wa-jʿal lī min ladunka sulṭānan naṣīrā.

پەروەردگارم، بە چوونەژوورەوەیەکی ڕاست بمخەرە ژوورەوە و بە دەرچوونێکی ڕاست دەرمبخە، و لە لایەن خۆتەوە دەسەڵاتێکی یارمەتیدەرم پێببەخشە.

My Lord, let me enter by an entrance of truth and leave by an exit of truth, and grant me from Yourself a supporting authority.

Qurʾān 17:80
٣٢

پێش قسەکردن لەبەردەم خەڵک یان کەسێکی سەخت

Before speaking — to a crowd, or to someone difficult

رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي ۝ وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي ۝ وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِي ۝ يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي.

Rabbi shraḥ lī ṣadrī, wa-yassir lī amrī, wa-ḥlul ʿuqdatan min lisānī, yafqahū qawlī.

پەروەردگارم، سنگم بۆ فراوان بکە، کارەکەم بۆ ئاسان بکە، و گرێ لە زمانم بکەرەوە، تا قسەکەم تێبگەن.

My Lord, expand my chest for me, make my task easy for me, and untie the knot from my tongue, so they may understand my speech.

Before study

رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا.

کاتێک نەخۆشی و ئازار پێت گەیشتووە

When illness or hardship has reached you

أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

Annī massaniya ḍ-ḍurru wa-anta arḥamu r-rāḥimīn.

ناخۆشی تووشم بووە، و تۆ میهرەبانترینی میهرەبانانیت.

Adversity has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.

Qurʾān 21:83 — the duʿāʾ of Ayyūb
٣٥

کاتێک لە ناوەڕاستی تەنگانەدایت

From inside the distress itself

لَّا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ.

Lā ilāha illā anta subḥānaka innī kuntu mina ẓ-ẓālimīn.

هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە تۆ. پاکی بۆ تۆ. بەڕاستی من لە ستەمکاران بووم.

There is no god but You. Glory be to You. I have been among the wrongdoers.

Qurʾān 21:87 — the duʿāʾ of Dhū n-Nūn, said in the whale

کاتێک بە تەنها ماوییتەوە

When you have been left alone

رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِي فَرْدًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْوَارِثِينَ.

Rabbi lā tadharnī fardan wa-anta khayru l-wārithīn.

پەروەردگارم، بە تەنها مەمهێڵەوە، و تۆ باشترینی میراتگرانیت.

My Lord, do not leave me alone, and You are the best of inheritors.

بۆ پاراستن لە وەسوەسەی شەیتان

Against the whisperings

رَّبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ ۝ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَن يَحْضُرُونِ.

Rabbi aʿūdhu bika min hamazāti sh-shayāṭīn, wa-aʿūdhu bika Rabbi an yaḥḍurūn.

پەروەردگارم، پەنا دەگرم بە تۆ لە وەسوەسەی شەیتانەکان، و پەنا دەگرم بە تۆ، ئەی پەروەردگارم، لەوەی ئامادە بن لام.

My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the promptings of the devils, and I seek refuge in You, my Lord, from their presence.

Short and complete

رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

پەروەردگارم، لێخۆشبە و بەزەییت بێتەوە، و تۆ باشترینی بەزەییدارانیت.

My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of those who show mercy.

٣٩

بۆ دانایی و پەیوەندی بە چاکەکارانەوە

For sound judgement, and good company

رَبِّ هَبْ لِي حُكْمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ.

Rabbi hab lī ḥukman wa-alḥiqnī bi-ṣ-ṣāliḥīn.

پەروەردگارم، دانایی و حوکمم پێببەخشە و بە چاکەکارانم بگەیەنە.

My Lord, grant me sound judgement and join me with the righteous.

٤٠

بۆ سوپاسگوزاری لەسەر نیعمەت

For gratitude, when something good arrives

رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِي عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ.

Rabbi awziʿnī an ashkura niʿmataka llatī anʿamta ʿalayya wa-ʿalā wālidayya wa-an aʿmala ṣāliḥan tarḍāhu wa-adkhilnī bi-raḥmatika fī ʿibādika ṣ-ṣāliḥīn.

پەروەردگارم، توانام پێبدە شوکری ئەو نیعمەتەت بکەم کە بەسەر من و دایک و باوکمدا بەخشیوتە، و کاری چاک بکەم کە ڕەزامەندی تۆی تێدا بێت، و بە بەزەیی خۆت بمخەرە ناو بەندە چاکەکانتەوە.

My Lord, enable me to be grateful for the favour You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and to do righteous work that pleases You, and admit me by Your mercy among Your righteous servants.

Qurʾān 27:19 — the duʿāʾ of Sulaymān

یەکسەر دوای هەڵەیەک

Immediately after a wrong

رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي.

Rabbi innī ẓalamtu nafsī fa-ghfir lī.

پەروەردگارم، بەڕاستی من ستەمم لە خۆم کرد، کەواتە لێم خۆش بە.

My Lord, I have wronged myself, so forgive me.

کاتێک ترست لە کەسێک هەیە

When you are afraid of someone

رَبِّ نَجِّنِي مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ.

Rabbi najjinī mina l-qawmi ẓ-ẓālimīn.

پەروەردگارم، لە گەلی ستەمکار ڕزگارم بکە.

My Lord, save me from the wrongdoing people.

٤٣

داوای منداڵ لە چاکەکاران

Asking for a righteous child

رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ.

Rabbi hab lī mina ṣ-ṣāliḥīn.

پەروەردگارم، لە چاکەکارانم پێببەخشە.

My Lord, grant me one of the righteous.

داوای ماڵێک لە بەهەشت

Asking for a house in Paradise

پەروەردگارم، لەلای خۆت ماڵێکم لە بەهەشتدا بۆ دروست بکە.

My Lord, build for me a house near You in Paradise.

٤٥

بۆ ماڵ و هەموو باوەڕداران

For your household and every believer

رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمَن دَخَلَ بَيْتِيَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ.

Rabbi ghfir lī wa-li-wālidayya wa-li-man dakhala baytiya mu'minan wa-li-l-mu'minīna wa-l-mu'mināt.

پەروەردگارم، لە من و دایک و باوکم و هەرکەسێک بە باوەڕەوە بێتە ماڵەکەم، و لە هەموو پیاوان و ژنانی باوەڕدار خۆش بە.

My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house as a believer, and all believing men and believing women.

خودایە، بەڕاستی تۆ لێبووردەیت و لێبوردنت خۆشدەوێت، کەواتە لێمان ببوورە.

O Allah, You are Pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon us.

Turning back

Subḥāna Llāhi wa-bi-ḥamdih, astaghfiru Llāha wa-atūbu ilayh.

پاکی بۆ خودا و ستایش بۆ ئەو. داوای لێخۆشبوون لە خودا دەکەم و بۆ لای ئەو دەگەڕێمەوە.

Glory be to Allah and all praise is His. I seek Allah's forgiveness and I turn to Him.

My Lord, forgive me and accept my repentance. Truly You are the Ever-Relenting, the Merciful.

لێخۆشبوون تەنانەت ئەگەر لە شەڕ هەڵاتبێت

Forgiveness even for the one who fled the line

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ.

Astaghfiru Llāha lladhī lā ilāha illā huwa l-Ḥayyu l-Qayyūmu wa-atūbu ilayh.

داوای لێخۆشبوون لەو خودایە دەکەم کە هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە ئەو، زیندوو و ڕاگر، و بۆ لای ئەو دەگەڕێمەوە.

I seek the forgiveness of Allah, besides whom there is no god, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer, and I turn to Him.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَىٰ عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ.

Allāhumma anta Rabbī lā ilāha illā ant, khalaqtanī wa-anā ʿabduk, wa-anā ʿalā ʿahdika wa-waʿdika mā staṭaʿt, aʿūdhu bika min sharri mā ṣanaʿt, abū'u laka bi-niʿmatika ʿalayy, wa-abū'u bi-dhanbī fa-ghfir lī, fa-innahu lā yaghfiru dh-dhunūba illā ant.

خودایە، تۆ پەروەردگارمی، هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە تۆ. تۆ دروستت کردم و من بەندەی تۆم، و بەقەد توانام لەسەر پەیمان و بەڵێنی تۆم. پەنا دەگرم بە تۆ لە خراپەی ئەوەی کردوومە. دان دەنێم بەو نیعمەتەی بەسەرمدا بەخشیوتە، و دان دەنێم بە گوناهەکەم، کەواتە لێم خۆش بە، چونکە کەس گوناه نابەخشێت جگە لە تۆ.

O Allah, You are my Lord — there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I keep Your covenant and Your promise as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge before You Your favour upon me, and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me — for none forgives sins but You.

بەیانیان، کاتێک هەڵدەستیت

At daybreak

أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ.

رَبِّ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا فِي هَٰذَا الْيَوْمِ وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهُ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِي هَٰذَا الْيَوْمِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ.

Aṣbaḥnā wa-aṣbaḥa l-mulku li-Llāh, wa-l-ḥamdu li-Llāh, lā ilāha illā Llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahu l-mulku wa-lahu l-ḥamdu wa-huwa ʿalā kulli shay'in qadīr.

Rabbi as'aluka khayra mā fī hādhā l-yawmi wa-khayra mā baʿdah, wa-aʿūdhu bika min sharri mā fī hādhā l-yawmi wa-sharri mā baʿdah.

بەیانیمان کرد و موڵک هەمووی بۆ خودایە، و ستایش بۆ خودا. هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە خودای تاک و بێهاوبەش؛ موڵک و ستایش هی ئەوە و ئەو بەسەر هەموو شتێکدا توانایە. پەروەردگارم، داوای خێری ئەم ڕۆژە و خێری دوای ئەوت لێدەکەم، و پەنا دەگرم بە تۆ لە خراپەی ئەم ڕۆژە و خراپەی دوای ئەو.

We have entered the morning and the dominion belongs to Allah; all praise is for Allah. There is no god but Allah alone, no partner beside Him; His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things. My Lord, I ask You for the good of this day and the good of what comes after it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil of what comes after it.

بەیانی و ئێوارە — هەموو شت بە خودا

Morning and evening

اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا، وَبِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا، وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُورُ.

Allāhumma bika aṣbaḥnā, wa-bika amsaynā, wa-bika naḥyā, wa-bika namūt, wa-ilayka n-nushūr.

O Allah, by You we enter the morning and by You we enter the evening, by You we live and by You we die, and to You is the resurrection.

اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَدَنِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي سَمْعِي، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَصَرِي، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ.

Allāhumma ʿāfinī fī badanī, Allāhumma ʿāfinī fī samʿī, Allāhumma ʿāfinī fī baṣarī, lā ilāha illā ant.

خودایە، لە لەشمدا تەندروستیم پێببەخشە. خودایە، لە بیستنمدا تەندروستیم پێببەخشە. خودایە، لە بینینمدا تەندروستیم پێببەخشە. هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە تۆ.

O Allah, grant me wellbeing in my body. O Allah, grant me wellbeing in my hearing. O Allah, grant me wellbeing in my sight. There is no god but You.

٥٤

حەوت جار بەیانی و حەوت جار ئێوارە

Seven times, morning and evening

حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ، عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ.

Ḥasbiya Llāhu lā ilāha illā hū, ʿalayhi tawakkalt, wa-huwa Rabbu l-ʿarshi l-ʿaẓīm.

خودا بەسمە، هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە ئەو، پشتم بە ئەو بەستووە، و ئەو پەروەردگاری عەرشی مەزنە.

Allah is enough for me. There is no god but Him. On Him I rely, and He is Lord of the Mighty Throne.

٥٥

سێ جار — هیچ زیانێکت پێناگات

Three times — nothing will harm you

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ، وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ.

Bismi Llāhi lladhī lā yaḍurru maʿa smihi shay'un fī l-arḍi wa-lā fī s-samā', wa-huwa s-Samīʿu l-ʿAlīm.

بە ناوی ئەو خودایەی کە لەگەڵ ناوی ئەودا هیچ شتێک لە زەوی و ئاسماندا زیان ناگەیەنێت، و ئەو بیسەر و زانایە.

In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in heaven can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

٥٦

سێ جار — خودا لە ڕۆژی قیامەت ڕازی دەبێت

Three times — contentment declared

رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ نَبِيًّا.

Raḍītu bi-Llāhi Rabbā, wa-bi-l-islāmi dīnā, wa-bi-Muḥammadin ﷺ nabiyyā.

ڕازیم بە خودا وەک پەروەردگار، بە ئیسلام وەک ئایین، و بە محمد ﷺ وەک پێغەمبەر.

I am content with Allah as Lord, with Islam as religion, and with Muḥammad ﷺ as Prophet.

٥٧

بۆ ئەوەی هەموو کارەکانت ڕێک بخرێن

That the whole of your affair be set right

يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ، أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ، وَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَىٰ نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ.

Yā Ḥayyu yā Qayyūmu bi-raḥmatika astaghīth, aṣliḥ lī sha'nī kullah, wa-lā takilnī ilā nafsī ṭarfata ʿayn.

ئەی زیندوو، ئەی ڕاگر، بە بەزەیی تۆ داوای فریاکەوتن دەکەم. هەموو کاروبارم بۆ ڕێک بخە، و بە قەد چاوتروکانێکیش بە خۆم مەمسپێرە.

O Ever-Living, O Sustainer, by Your mercy I seek help. Set right for me the whole of my affair, and do not leave me to myself for the blink of an eye.

دوای نوێژی بەیانی

After the dawn prayer

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا.

Allāhumma innī as'aluka ʿilman nāfiʿā, wa-rizqan ṭayyibā, wa-ʿamalan mutaqabbalā.

خودایە، داوای زانستی سوودبەخش، ڕۆزی حەڵاڵ، و کرداری وەرگیراوت لێدەکەم.

O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that benefits, provision that is good, and work that is accepted.

قورستر لە تەرازووی کردەوەکاندا

Four phrases that outweigh a morning of dhikr

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ، وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ، وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ، وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ.

Subḥāna Llāhi wa-bi-ḥamdih, ʿadada khalqih, wa-riḍā nafsih, wa-zinata ʿarshih, wa-midāda kalimātih.

پاکی بۆ خودا و ستایش بۆ ئەو — بەقەد ژمارەی دروستکراوەکانی، بەقەد ڕەزامەندی خۆی، بەقەد کێشی عەرشەکەی، و بەقەد ئەوەندەی مەرەکەبی وشەکانی.

Glory be to Allah and all praise is His — as many as His creation, as pleases Him, as heavy as His Throne, and as endless as the ink of His words.

٦٠

بۆ پاراستن لە کوفر و هەژاری و سزای گۆڕ

Refuge from disbelief, poverty, and the grave

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالْفَقْرِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika mina l-kufri wa-l-faqr, wa-aʿūdhu bika min ʿadhābi l-qabr, lā ilāha illā ant.

خودایە، پەنا دەگرم بە تۆ لە بێباوەڕی و هەژاری، و پەنا دەگرم بە تۆ لە سزای گۆڕ. هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە تۆ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief and poverty, and I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave. There is no god but You.

ئێواران، سێ جار

Evening, three times

أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ.

Aʿūdhu bi-kalimāti Llāhi t-tāmmāti min sharri mā khalaq.

پەنا دەگرم بە وشە تەواوەکانی خودا لە خراپەی ئەوەی دروستی کردووە.

I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.

الرِّزْقُ وَالتَّيْسِير

Provision and Ease

For work that will not move, doors that will not open, and debt.

بۆ بەرەکەت و قبووڵبوونی هەر دوعایەک کە ئەتەوێ

For barakah, and for any request at all

رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ.

Rabbi innī limā anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqīr.

پەروەردگارم، من پێویستم بە هەر خێرێکە کە بۆم دادەبەزێنیت.

My Lord, I am in need of whatever good You send down to me.

٦٣

هەر ئیشێکت لا قورس و زەحمەت بوو، ئەم دوعایە بکە

When something is too heavy to move

اللَّهُمَّ لَا سَهْلَ إِلَّا مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلًا، وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلًا.

Allāhumma lā sahla illā mā jaʿaltahu sahlā, wa-anta tajʿalu l-ḥazna idhā shi'ta sahlā.

خودایە، هیچ شتێک ئاسان نییە جگە لەوەی تۆ ئاسانی بکەیت، و تۆ زەوی سەخت ئاسان دەکەیت ئەگەر بتەوێت.

O Allah, nothing is easy except what You make easy, and You make the hard ground easy if You wish.

٦٤

دوعای دەوڵەمەند بوون — بۆ قەرز و هەژاری

For debt and for poverty

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الْأَوَّلُ فَلَيْسَ قَبْلَكَ شَيْءٌ، وَأَنْتَ الْآخِرُ فَلَيْسَ بَعْدَكَ شَيْءٌ، وَأَنْتَ الظَّاهِرُ فَلَيْسَ فَوْقَكَ شَيْءٌ، وَأَنْتَ الْبَاطِنُ فَلَيْسَ دُونَكَ شَيْءٌ، اقْضِ عَنَّا الدَّيْنَ وَأَغْنِنَا مِنَ الْفَقْرِ.

Allāhumma anta l-Awwalu fa-laysa qablaka shay', wa-anta l-Ākhiru fa-laysa baʿdaka shay', wa-anta ẓ-Ẓāhiru fa-laysa fawqaka shay', wa-anta l-Bāṭinu fa-laysa dūnaka shay', iqḍi ʿannā d-dayna wa-aghninā mina l-faqr.

خودایە، تۆ یەکەمیت و هیچ شتێک پێش تۆ نییە؛ تۆ کۆتاییت و هیچ شتێک دوای تۆ نییە؛ تۆ ئاشکرایت و هیچ شتێک لەسەر تۆ نییە؛ تۆ شاراوەیت و هیچ شتێک لە تۆ نزیکتر نییە. قەرزمان لێ بدەوە و لە هەژاری دەوڵەمەندمان بکە.

O Allah, You are the First — nothing is before You; the Last — nothing is after You; the Manifest — nothing is above You; the Hidden — nothing is beyond You. Settle our debt for us, and enrich us out of poverty.

٦٥

بۆ ئاسانکردنی کارەکان و کردنەوەی دەرگاکان

To have affairs made easy and doors opened

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ الَّذِي لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ، أَنْ تُرِيَنِي عَجَائِبَ قُدْرَتِكَ فِي تَيْسِيرِ أُمُورِي. اللَّهُمَّ سَخِّرْ لِي الْأَرْضَ وَمَنْ عَلَيْهَا، وَالسَّمَاءَ وَمَنْ فِيهَا، وَعِبَادَكَ الصَّالِحِينَ، وَكُلَّ مَنْ بِيَدِهِ أَمْرِي، وَارْزُقْنِي مِنْ كَرَمِكَ وَفَضْلِكَ رِزْقًا وَاسِعًا، وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ الْخَيْرِ وَالتَّوْفِيقِ، إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ.

Allāhumma innī as'aluka bi-annaka anta Llāhu lā ilāha illā anta l-Aḥadu ṣ-Ṣamadu lladhī lam yalid wa-lam yūlad wa-lam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥad, an turiyanī ʿajā'iba qudratika fī taysīri umūrī. Allāhumma sakhkhir lī l-arḍa wa-man ʿalayhā, wa-s-samā'a wa-man fīhā, wa-ʿibādaka ṣ-ṣāliḥīn, wa-kulla man bi-yadihi amrī, wa-rzuqnī min karamika wa-faḍlika rizqan wāsiʿā, wa-ftaḥ lī abwāba l-khayri wa-t-tawfīq, innaka ʿalā kulli shay'in qadīr.

خودایە، داوات لێدەکەم بەوەی تۆ خودای، هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە تۆ، تاک و بێنیاز، کە نە منداڵی بووە و نە لەدایک کراوە و هیچ کەس هاوتای نییە، کە سەرسوڕهێنەری تواناکەتم پیشان بدەیت لە ئاسانکردنی کارەکانم. خودایە، زەوی و هەرکەسی لەسەری، و ئاسمان و هەرکەسی تێیدا، و بەندە چاکەکانت، و هەرکەسێک کارم بە دەستی ئەوە، بۆم ڕام بکە؛ لە ڕێزداری و بەخشندەیی خۆت ڕۆزیێکی فراوانم پێبدە، و دەرگاکانی خێر و سەرکەوتنم بۆ بکەرەوە، بەڕاستی تۆ بەسەر هەموو شتێکدا توانایت.

O Allah, I ask You by the fact that You are Allah — there is no god but You, the One, the Eternal Refuge, who neither begets nor is begotten and to whom none is equal — that You show me the wonders of Your power in making my affairs easy. O Allah, make subservient to me the earth and all upon it, the sky and all within it, Your righteous servants, and everyone in whose hand my affair lies. Provide for me out of Your generosity and bounty a wide provision, and open for me the doors of good and success. Truly You have power over all things.

داوای زیادبوونی ئیمان و تەمەن و تەندروستی و ڕزق

Asking for increase in every part of life

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ زِيَادَةً فِي الدِّينِ، وَبَرَكَةً فِي الْعُمْرِ، وَصِحَّةً فِي الْبَدَنِ، وَزِيَادَةً فِي الرِّزْقِ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ يَا اللهُ تَوْبَةً قَبْلَ الْمَوْتِ، وَشَهَادَةً عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ، وَمَغْفِرَةً بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ، وَعَفْوًا عِنْدَ الْحِسَابِ، وَأَمَانًا مِنَ الْعَذَابِ، وَنَصِيبًا مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَارْزُقْنِي لَذَّةَ النَّظَرِ إِلَىٰ وَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ.

Allāhumma innī as'aluka ziyādatan fī d-dīn, wa-barakatan fī l-ʿumr, wa-ṣiḥḥatan fī l-badan, wa-ziyādatan fī r-rizq, wa-as'aluka yā Allāhu tawbatan qabla l-mawt, wa-shahādatan ʿinda l-mawt, wa-maghfiratan baʿda l-mawt, wa-ʿafwan ʿinda l-ḥisāb, wa-amānan mina l-ʿadhāb, wa-naṣīban mina l-jannah, wa-rzuqnī ladhdhata n-naẓari ilā wajhika l-karīm.

خودایە، داوای زیادبوونی ئیمان و بەرەکەت لە تەمەن و تەندروستی لە لەش و زیادبوونی ڕۆزی دەکەم. داوات لێدەکەم، ئەی خودا، تەوبە پێش مردن، شایەتی لە کاتی مردن، لێخۆشبوون دوای مردن، لێبوردن لە کاتی حساب، ئاسوودەیی لە سزا، و بەشێک لە بەهەشت؛ و چێژی سەیرکردنی ڕووە بەڕێزەکەتم پێببەخشە.

O Allah, I ask You for increase in faith, blessing in my lifetime, health in my body and increase in my provision. I ask You, O Allah, for repentance before death, testimony of faith at death, forgiveness after death, pardon at the reckoning, safety from the punishment, a share of Paradise — and grant me the sweetness of looking upon Your noble Face.

٦٧

دوعا بۆ سەرکەوتن لە هەردوو دونیا

For good in both worlds

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ.

Rabbanā ātinā fī d-dunyā ḥasanatan wa-fī l-ākhirati ḥasanatan wa-qinā ʿadhāba n-nār.

پەروەردگارمان، لەم دونیایە چاکەمان پێبدە و لە دواڕۆژیشدا چاکە، و لە سزای ئاگر بمانپارێزە.

Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

٦٨

لە هەر کارێک پەلەت بوو، ئەم دوعایە بخوێنە

When you are in a hurry and do not know what to ask for

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ، مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ كُلِّهِ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ، مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِمَّا سَأَلَ بِهِ نَبِيُّكَ مُحَمَّدٌ ﷺ.

Allāhumma innī as'aluka mina l-khayri kullihi ʿājilihi wa-ājilih, mā ʿalimtu minhu wa-mā lam aʿlam, wa-aʿūdhu bika mina sh-sharri kullihi ʿājilihi wa-ājilih, mā ʿalimtu minhu wa-mā lam aʿlam, wa-as'aluka mimmā sa'ala bihi nabiyyuka Muḥammadun ﷺ.

خودایە، داوای هەموو خێرێکت لێدەکەم — ئێستا و دواتر، ئەوەی دەیزانم و ئەوەی نایزانم. پەنا دەگرم بە تۆ لە هەموو خراپەیەک — ئێستا و دواتر، ئەوەی دەیزانم و ئەوەی نایزانم. و داوای ئەوەت لێدەکەم کە پێغەمبەرەکەت محمد ﷺ داوای کردووە.

O Allah, I ask You for all good — the immediate and the deferred, what I know of it and what I do not. I seek refuge in You from all evil — the immediate and the deferred, what I know of it and what I do not. And I ask You for what Your Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ asked You for.

٦٩

بۆ قەرزێک کە ناتوانیت بیدەیتەوە

For a debt you cannot pay

اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ.

Allāhumma kfinī bi-ḥalālika ʿan ḥarāmik, wa-aghninī bi-faḍlika ʿamman siwāk.

خودایە، بە حەڵاڵەکەت لە حەرامەکەت بەسم بە، و بە بەخششی خۆت دەوڵەمەندم بکە لە هەموو کەسێک جگە لە تۆ.

O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful against what You have forbidden, and enrich me by Your bounty so I need no one but You.

Sunan at-Tirmidhī — the Prophet ﷺ taught it to a man in debt

ئەم دوعایە زۆر بڵێ — دڵتەنگی نامێنێت، هەموو ئەبێتە دڵخۆشی

Say it often; the grief is taken away

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ، ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ، ابْنُ أَمَتِكَ، نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ، مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ، أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ، أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ، أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، أَوِ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ، أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي، وَنُورَ صَدْرِي، وَجَلَاءَ حُزْنِي، وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي.

Allāhumma innī ʿabduk, ibnu ʿabdik, ibnu amatik, nāṣiyatī bi-yadik, māḍin fiyya ḥukmuk, ʿadlun fiyya qaḍā'uk, as'aluka bi-kulli ismin huwa laka sammayta bihi nafsak, aw anzaltahu fī kitābik, aw ʿallamtahu aḥadan min khalqik, awi sta'tharta bihi fī ʿilmi l-ghaybi ʿindak, an tajʿala l-Qur'āna l-ʿaẓīma rabīʿa qalbī, wa-nūra ṣadrī, wa-jalā'a ḥuznī, wa-dhahāba hammī.

خودایە، من بەندەی تۆم، کوڕی بەندەی تۆم، کوڕی کەنیزەکەی تۆم. تووکی سەرم بە دەستی تۆیە، حوکمت لەسەرم جێبەجێیە، بڕیارت بۆم دادپەروەرانەیە. داوات لێدەکەم بە هەموو ناوێک کە هی تۆیە — ناوت لە خۆت ناوە، یان لە کتێبەکەتدا داتبەزاندووە، یان فێری یەکێک لە دروستکراوەکانت کردووە، یان لە زانستی نەبینراو لای خۆت هەڵتگرتووە — کە قورئانی مەزن بکەیتە بەهاری دڵم، ڕووناکی سنگم، سڕینەوەی خەمم و ڕۆیشتنی نیگەرانیم.

O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand, Your judgement on me is carried out, Your decree for me is just. I ask You by every name that is Yours — by which You named Yourself, or sent down in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept hidden with You in the knowledge of the unseen — that You make the mighty Qurʾān the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the lifting of my sorrow and the going of my anxiety.

هەر کاتێک شتێکت لەسەر گران بوو، ئەم زیکرە بخوێنە

When your own strength has run out

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَتَبَرَّأُ مِنْ حَوْلِي وَقُوَّتِي وَأَلْتَجِئُ إِلَىٰ حَوْلِكَ وَقُوَّتِكَ، اللَّهُمَّ انْصُرْنِي وَلَا تَنْصُرْ عَلَيَّ، وَأَعِنِّي وَلَا تُعِنْ عَلَيَّ، وَاهْدِنِي وَيَسِّرِ الْهُدَىٰ لِي يَا رَبِّ.

Allāhumma innī atabarra'u min ḥawlī wa-quwwatī wa-altaji'u ilā ḥawlika wa-quwwatik, Allāhumma nṣurnī wa-lā tanṣur ʿalayy, wa-aʿinnī wa-lā tuʿin ʿalayy, wa-hdinī wa-yassiri l-hudā lī yā Rabb.

خودایە، من خۆم لە هێز و توانای خۆم بەری دەکەم و پەنا دەبەمە بەر هێز و توانای تۆ. خودایە، سەرکەوتنم پێبدە و دژم سەرکەوتوو مەکە؛ یارمەتیم بدە و دژم یارمەتی مەدە؛ ڕێنماییم بکە و ڕێنمایی بۆم ئاسان بکە، ئەی پەروەردگارم.

اللَّهُمَّ يَا رَبِّيَ الْعَظِيمَ، يَا وَاسِعَ الرَّحْمَةِ، يَا مَنْ لَا يَخِيبُ مَنْ قَصَدَهُ، أَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيْكَ بِقَلْبٍ يَرْجُو نُورَكَ وَيَطْلُبُ عَفْوَكَ.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنْ عِبَادِكَ الَّذِينَ أَحْبَبْتَهُمْ فَقَرَّبْتَهُمْ، وَوَفَّقْتَهُمْ فَسَعِدُوا، وَرَفَعْتَهُمْ فَارْتَقَوْا.

اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ الطَّاعَةِ، وَاغْسِلْ قَلْبِي مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ، وَنَقِّ نَفْسِي مِنْ كُلِّ مَا يُبْعِدُنِي عَنْكَ.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ ذِكْرَكَ يَمْلَأُ لِسَانِي، وَمَحَبَّتَكَ تَعْمُرُ قَلْبِي، وَهِدَايَتَكَ تَقُودُ خُطَايَ.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِي حُسْنَ الْقُرْبِ مِنْكَ، وَلَذَّةَ مُنَاجَاتِكَ، وَثَبَاتَ الْإِيمَانِ فِي قَلْبِي.

اللَّهُمَّ أَغْمِرْ حَيَاتِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ، وَأَنِرْ دَرْبِي بِنُورِكَ، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِي أَمْرِي، وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنْ أَهْلِ رِضَاكَ، وَمِنْ أَهْلِ طَاعَتِكَ، وَمِنْ أَهْلِ جَنَّتِكَ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ. اللَّهُمَّ آمِين.

Allāhumma yā Rabbiya l-ʿAẓīm, yā Wāsiʿa r-raḥmah, yā man lā yakhību man qaṣadah, ataqarrabu ilayka bi-qalbin yarjū nūraka wa-yaṭlubu ʿafwak.

Allāhumma jʿalnī min ʿibādika lladhīna aḥbabtahum fa-qarrabtahum, wa-waffaqtahum fa-saʿidū, wa-rafaʿtahum fa-rtaqaw.

Allāhumma ftaḥ lī abwāba ṭ-ṭāʿah, wa-ghsil qalbī mina dh-dhunūb, wa-naqqi nafsī min kulli mā yubʿidunī ʿank.

Allāhumma jʿal dhikraka yamla'u lisānī, wa-maḥabbataka taʿmuru qalbī, wa-hidāyataka taqūdu khuṭāy.

Allāhumma rzuqnī ḥusna l-qurbi mink, wa-ladhdhata munājātik, wa-thabāta l-īmāni fī qalbī.

Allāhumma ghmir ḥayātī bi-raḥmatik, wa-anir darbī bi-nūrik, wa-bārik lī fī amrī, wa-jʿalnī min ahli riḍāk, wa-min ahli ṭāʿatik, wa-min ahli jannatika yā Rabba l-ʿālamīn. Allāhumma āmīn.

خودایە، ئەی پەروەردگاری مەزنم، ئەی فراوان لە بەزەیی، ئەی ئەوەی کەس بەرەو ڕووی نەچووە بێبەش نەبووە — بە دڵێک نزیک دەبمەوە لێت کە هیوای ڕووناکی تۆ دەخوازێت و داوای لێبوردنت دەکات. خودایە، بمکە بەو بەندانەی خۆشت ویستوون و نزیکت کردوونەتەوە، سەرکەوتووت کردوون و دڵخۆش بوون، بەرزت کردوونەتەوە و بەرز بوون. خودایە، دەرگاکانی گوێڕایەڵی بۆم بکەرەوە، دڵم لە گوناه بشۆرەوە، و لە هەموو ئەوەی لێت دووری دەخاتمەوە پاکم بکەرەوە. خودایە، زیکری تۆ زمانم پڕ بکات، خۆشەویستیت دڵم ئاوەدان بکاتەوە، و ڕێنماییت هەنگاوەکانم بەڕێوە ببات. خودایە، جوانی نزیکبوونەوە لە خۆت، چێژی مناجاتت، و جێگیری ئیمانم لە دڵمدا پێببەخشە. خودایە، ژیانم بە بەزەییت داپۆشە، ڕێگام بە ڕووناکیت ڕووناک بکەرەوە، لە کارەکانم بەرەکەتم بدە، و بمکە لە خاوەن ڕەزامەندیت، لە گوێڕایەڵانت، و لە خەڵکی بەهەشتت، ئەی پەروەردگاری جیهانیان. ئامین.

O Allah, my Great Lord, O Vast in mercy, O You whom no one who turns to You is turned away — I draw near to You with a heart that hopes for Your light and asks for Your pardon. O Allah, make me one of Your servants whom You loved and drew near, whom You granted success so they were happy, whom You raised so they rose. O Allah, open for me the doors of obedience, wash my heart of sins, and purify me of everything that takes me far from You. O Allah, let Your remembrance fill my tongue, Your love inhabit my heart, and Your guidance lead my steps. O Allah, grant me the beauty of nearness to You, the sweetness of speaking with You, and firmness of faith in my heart. O Allah, flood my life with Your mercy, light my path with Your light, bless me in my affair, and make me of the people of Your pleasure, of Your obedience, and of Your Paradise, O Lord of the worlds. کاتێک شتێکی گەورە سەرت لێ شێواند

When something crushes you

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَرَبُّ الْأَرْضِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ.

Lā ilāha illā Llāhu l-ʿAẓīmu l-Ḥalīm, lā ilāha illā Llāhu Rabbu l-ʿarshi l-ʿaẓīm, lā ilāha illā Llāhu Rabbu s-samāwāti wa-Rabbu l-arḍi wa-Rabbu l-ʿarshi l-karīm.

هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە خودای مەزن و خۆڕاگر. هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە خودا، پەروەردگاری عەرشی مەزن. هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە خودا، پەروەردگاری ئاسمانەکان و پەروەردگاری زەوی و پەروەردگاری عەرشی بەڕێز.

There is no god but Allah, the Mighty, the Forbearing. There is no god but Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne. There is no god but Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth and Lord of the noble Throne.

کاتێک هیچ هێزێکت نەماوە

When you cannot be trusted with yourself

اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجُو، فَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَىٰ نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ.

Allāhumma raḥmataka arjū, fa-lā takilnī ilā nafsī ṭarfata ʿayn, wa-aṣliḥ lī sha'nī kullah, lā ilāha illā ant.

خودایە، هیوام بە بەزەیی تۆیە، کەواتە بە قەد چاوتروکانێکیش بە خۆم مەمسپێرە. هەموو کاروبارم بۆ ڕێک بخە. هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە تۆ.

O Allah, it is Your mercy I hope for, so do not leave me to myself for the blink of an eye. Set right for me the whole of my affair. There is no god but You.

لە خەم و بێهێزی و قەرز و ژێردەستەیی

From worry, weakness, debt, and being overpowered

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika mina l-hammi wa-l-ḥazan, wa-l-ʿajzi wa-l-kasal, wa-l-bukhli wa-l-jubn, wa-ḍalaʿi d-dayni wa-ghalabati r-rijāl.

خودایە، پەنا دەگرم بە تۆ لە خەم و نیگەرانی، لە بێدەسەڵاتی و تەمبەڵی، لە ڕەزیلی و ترسنۆکی، لە قورسایی قەرز و بەسەرداکەوتنی خەڵک.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, from the burden of debt and from being overpowered by others.

Al-ḥamdu li-Llāhi lladhī bi-niʿmatihi tatimmu ṣ-ṣāliḥāt.

ستایش بۆ خودا کە بە نیعمەتی ئەو کارە چاکەکان تەواو دەبن.

All praise is for Allah, by whose favour good things are completed.

At a loss

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ. اللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي، وَاخْلُفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا.

Innā li-Llāhi wa-innā ilayhi rājiʿūn. Allāhumma jurnī fī muṣībatī, wa-khluf lī khayran minhā.

ئێمە هی خوداین و بۆ لای ئەو دەگەڕێینەوە. خودایە، لەم بەڵایەمدا پاداشتم بدەرەوە و شتێکی باشترم لە جێگای بۆ دابنێ.

To Allah we belong and to Him we return. O Allah, reward me in my affliction and replace it for me with something better.

لەبری ئەوەی بڵێیت «خۆزگە»

Instead of saying <em>if only</em>

قَدَّرَ اللَّهُ وَمَا شَاءَ فَعَلَ.

Qaddara Llāhu wa-mā shā'a faʿal.

خودا بڕیاری دا، و ئەوەی ویستی کردی.

Allah decreed, and what He willed He did.

کاتێک شتێک سەرسامت دەکات — بۆ پاراستن لە چاوی خراپ

When something delights you — against the eye

مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ، لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ.

Mā shā'a Llāh, lā quwwata illā bi-Llāh.

ئەوەی خودا ویستی. هیچ توانایەک نییە جگە بە خودا.

What Allah willed. There is no strength except by Allah.

Thanking someone

جَزَاكَ اللَّهُ خَيْرًا.

کاتێک کەسێکی تووشبوو دەبینیت

Seeing someone afflicted

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي عَافَانِي مِمَّا ابْتَلَاكَ بِهِ، وَفَضَّلَنِي عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٍ مِمَّنْ خَلَقَ تَفْضِيلًا.

Al-ḥamdu li-Llāhi lladhī ʿāfānī mimmā btalāka bih, wa-faḍḍalanī ʿalā kathīrin mimman khalaqa tafḍīlā.

ستایش بۆ خودا کە لەو شتەی تۆی پێ تاقی کردەوە منی پاراست، و بەسەر زۆرێک لە دروستکراوەکانیدا ڕێزی لێ گرتم.

All praise is for Allah, who kept me safe from what He tested you with, and favoured me over much of what He created.

The perfect words — shelter from all that was created

أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّاتِ الَّتِي لَا يُجَاوِزُهُنَّ بَرٌّ وَلَا فَاجِرٌ، مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ وَذَرَأَ وَبَرَأَ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا ذَرَأَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتَنِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ طَارِقٍ إِلَّا طَارِقًا يَطْرُقُ بِخَيْرٍ يَا رَحْمَٰنُ.

Aʿūdhu bi-kalimāti Llāhi t-tāmmāti llatī lā yujāwizuhunna barrun wa-lā fājir, min sharri mā khalaqa wa-dhara'a wa-bara', wa-min sharri mā yanzilu mina s-samā'i wa-min sharri mā yaʿruju fīhā, wa-min sharri mā dhara'a fī l-arḍi wa-min sharri mā yakhruju minhā, wa-min sharri fitani l-layli wa-n-nahār, wa-min sharri kulli ṭāriqin illā ṭāriqan yaṭruqu bi-khayrin yā Raḥmān.

پەنا دەگرم بە وشە تەواوەکانی خودا، کە نە چاکەکار و نە خراپەکار لێیان تێناپەڕێت، لە خراپەی ئەوەی دروستی کردووە و بەرهەمی هێناوە؛ لە خراپەی ئەوەی لە ئاسمانەوە دادەبەزێت و ئەوەی بەرەو ئاسمان بەرز دەبێتەوە؛ لە خراپەی ئەوەی لە زەویدا بڵاوی کردووەتەوە و ئەوەی لێی دەردەچێت؛ لە خراپەی فیتنەکانی شەو و ڕۆژ؛ و لە خراپەی هەموو سەردانێکی شەوانە، جگە لە سەردانێک کە بە خێر بێت، ئەی بەخشندە.

I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah, which neither the righteous nor the corrupt can surpass, from the evil of what He created, produced and originated; from the evil of what descends from the sky and what ascends into it; from the evil of what He scattered in the earth and what comes out of it; from the evil of the trials of night and day; and from the evil of every visitor at night — except a visitor who comes with good, O Most Compassionate.

پێش خەوتن ئەم زیکرە بخوێنە

Before sleep

بِسْمِ اللهِ، أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ غَضَبِهِ وَعِقَابِهِ، وَشَرِّ عِبَادِهِ، وَمِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ.

Bismi Llāh, aʿūdhu bi-kalimāti Llāhi t-tāmmati min ghaḍabihi wa-ʿiqābih, wa-sharri ʿibādih, wa-min hamazāti sh-shayāṭīni wa-an yaḥḍurūn.

بە ناوی خودا. پەنا دەگرم بە وشە تەواوەکانی خودا لە تووڕەیی و سزاکەی، لە خراپەی بەندەکانی، و لە وەسوەسەی شەیتانەکان و لەوەی نزیکم بکەونەوە.

In the name of Allah. I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His anger and His punishment, from the evil of His servants, and from the whisperings of the devils and that they should come near me.

بۆ پاراستن لە زوڵمی زاڵمان و ستەمکاران

Against an oppressor — name them where it says so-and-so

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعِ، وَرَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، كُنْ لِي جَارًا مِنْ فُلَانِ بْنِ فُلَانٍ، وَأَحْزَابِهِ مِنْ خَلَائِقِكَ، أَنْ يَفْرُطَ عَلَيَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ أَوْ يَطْغَىٰ، عَزَّ جَارُكَ، وَجَلَّ ثَنَاؤُكَ، وَلَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ.

Allāhumma Rabba s-samāwāti s-sabʿ, wa-Rabba l-ʿarshi l-ʿaẓīm, kun lī jāran min fulāni bni fulān, wa-aḥzābihi min khalā'iqik, an yafruṭa ʿalayya aḥadun minhum aw yaṭghā, ʿazza jāruk, wa-jalla thanā'uk, wa-lā ilāha illā ant.

خودایە، پەروەردگاری حەوت ئاسمان و پەروەردگاری عەرشی مەزن، پارێزەرم بە لە فڵانەکەسی کوڕی فڵانەکەس و لە هاوپەیمانەکانی لە دروستکراوەکانت، نەوەک یەکێکیان ستەمم لێ بکات یان سنوور ببەزێنێت. پارێزگاریت بەهێزە، ستایشت بەرزە، و هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە تۆ.

O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Mighty Throne, be my protector against so-and-so son of so-and-so and his party among Your creation, lest any of them wrong me or transgress against me. Mighty is Your protection, exalted is Your praise, and there is no god but You.

دوعا بۆ لەناوبردنی سیحر و جادوو

Against sorcery

اللهم عليك بكل من سكن جسدي، اللهم احرق من داخل جسدي.

Allāhumma ʿalayka bi-kulli man sakana jasadī, Allāhumma ḥriq man dākhili jasadī.

خودایە، لەگەڵ هەموو ئەوەی لە لەشمدا نیشتەجێ بووە؛ خودایە، ئەوەی لە ناو لەشمدایە بسووتێنە.

O Allah, deal with everything that has settled in my body; O Allah, burn out what is inside my body.

When people have gathered against you

حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ.

Ḥasbunā Llāhu wa-niʿma l-wakīl.

خودا بەسمانە، و باشترین پارێزەرە.

Allah is enough for us, and the best of guardians.

کاتێک لە کۆمەڵێک دەترسیت

When you fear a group of people

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَجْعَلُكَ فِي نُحُورِهِمْ، وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شُرُورِهِمْ.

Allāhumma innā najʿaluka fī nuḥūrihim, wa-naʿūdhu bika min shurūrihim.

خودایە، ئێمە تۆ دەخەینە بەردەمیان، و پەنا دەگرین بە تۆ لە خراپەکانیان.

O Allah, we place You before them, and we seek refuge in You from their evil.

ئایەتەلکورسی — دوای هەر نوێژێک و پێش خەوتن

Āyat al-Kursī — after each prayer, and before sleep

اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ.

Allāhu lā ilāha illā huwa l-Ḥayyu l-Qayyūm. Lā ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa-lā nawm. Lahu mā fī s-samāwāti wa-mā fī l-arḍ. Man dhā lladhī yashfaʿu ʿindahu illā bi-idhnih. Yaʿlamu mā bayna aydīhim wa-mā khalfahum, wa-lā yuḥīṭūna bi-shay'in min ʿilmihi illā bimā shā'. Wasiʿa kursiyyuhu s-samāwāti wa-l-arḍ, wa-lā ya'ūduhu ḥifẓuhumā, wa-huwa l-ʿAliyyu l-ʿAẓīm.

خودا — هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە ئەو، زیندوو و ڕاگری هەموو شت. نە خەواڵووبوون و نە خەو نایگرێت. هەرچی لە ئاسمانەکان و زەویدایە هی ئەوە. کێ هەیە لەلای ئەو تکاکاری بکات بەبێ مۆڵەتی ئەو؟ دەزانێت چی لەبەردەمیانە و چی لە دوایانە، و بە هیچ شتێک لە زانستی ئەو ئاگادار نابن مەگەر ئەوەی خۆی بیەوێت. کورسیەکەی ئاسمانەکان و زەوی گرتووەتەوە، و پاراستنیان ماندووی ناکات. ئەو بەرز و مەزنە.

Allah — there is no god but Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is there that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what lies before them and what lies behind them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His seat extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation does not weary Him. He is the Most High, the Magnificent.

Qurʾān 2:255 — Āyat al-Kursī. Recited after every prayer and before sleep; a guard is set over you until morning (al-Bukhārī)

سێ سورەتەکە — سێ جار بەیانی و ئێوارە و پێش خەوتن

قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ۝ اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ ۝ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ ۝ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ.

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ ۝ مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ۝ وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ۝ وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ ۝ وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ.

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ ۝ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ ۝ إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ ۝ مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ ۝ الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ ۝ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ.

Qul huwa Llāhu aḥad. Allāhu ṣ-Ṣamad. Lam yalid wa-lam yūlad. Wa-lam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥad.

Qul aʿūdhu bi-Rabbi l-falaq. Min sharri mā khalaq. Wa-min sharri ghāsiqin idhā waqab. Wa-min sharri n-naffāthāti fī l-ʿuqad. Wa-min sharri ḥāsidin idhā ḥasad.

Qul aʿūdhu bi-Rabbi n-nās. Maliki n-nās. Ilāhi n-nās. Min sharri l-waswāsi l-khannās. Alladhī yuwaswisu fī ṣudūri n-nās. Mina l-jinnati wa-n-nās.

بڵێ: ئەو خودایە، تاکە. خودای بێنیاز. نە منداڵی بووە و نە لەدایک کراوە، و هیچ کەس هاوتای نییە. — بڵێ: پەنا دەگرم بە پەروەردگاری بەرەبەیان، لە خراپەی ئەوەی دروستی کردووە، لە خراپەی تاریکی کاتێک دادەپۆشێت، لە خراپەی ئەوانەی فوو لە گرێکان دەکەن، و لە خراپەی چاوپیس کاتێک چاوی پیس دەبێت. — بڵێ: پەنا دەگرم بە پەروەردگاری خەڵکی، پاشای خەڵکی، خودای خەڵکی، لە خراپەی وەسوەسەکەری پاشەکشەکەر، ئەوەی لە سنگی خەڵکیدا وەسوەسە دەکات، لە جنۆکە و خەڵکی.

Say: He is Allah, One. Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is begotten, and there is none comparable to Him. — Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak, from the evil of what He created, from the evil of darkness when it settles, from the evil of those who blow on knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies. — Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the Sovereign of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the retreating whisperer who whispers in the breasts of mankind, from among the jinn and mankind.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ، اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا.

Allāhumma Rabba n-nās, adhhibi l-ba's, ishfi anta sh-Shāfī, lā shifā'a illā shifā'uk, shifā'an lā yughādiru saqamā.

خودایە، پەروەردگاری خەڵکی، ناخۆشی لاببە. شیفا بدە — تۆ شیفادەریت. هیچ شیفایەک نییە جگە لە شیفای تۆ: شیفایەک کە هیچ نەخۆشییەک بەجێ نەهێڵێت.

O Allah, Lord of mankind, take away the affliction. Heal — You are the Healer. There is no healing but Your healing: a healing that leaves no illness behind.

أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ، رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ.

As'alu Llāha l-ʿAẓīm, Rabba l-ʿarshi l-ʿaẓīm, an yashfiyak.

داوا لە خودای مەزن دەکەم، پەروەردگاری عەرشی مەزن، کە شیفات بدات.

I ask Allah the Mighty, Lord of the Mighty Throne, to heal you.

دەست بخە سەر جێی ئازارەکە — بسم الله سێ جار، ئینجا حەوت جار

Put your hand where it hurts — bismillāh three times, then this seven

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ.

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ وَأُحَاذِرُ.

Bismi Llāh.

Aʿūdhu bi-Llāhi wa-qudratihi min sharri mā ajidu wa-uḥādhir.

بە ناوی خودا. پەنا دەگرم بە خودا و بە تواناکەی لە خراپەی ئەوەی هەستی پێدەکەم و لێی دەترسم.

In the name of Allah. I seek refuge in Allah and in His power from the evil of what I find and what I fear.

بۆ دڵنەوایی نەخۆش

Said to comfort the sick

لَا بَأْسَ، طَهُورٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ.

Lā ba's, ṭahūrun in shā'a Llāh.

هیچ زیانێک نییە، پاککەرەوەیە ئەگەر خودا بیەوێت.

No harm — a cleansing, if Allah wills.

کاتێک ئازار زۆر دەبێت

When the pain is long

اللَّهُمَّ أَحْيِنِي مَا كَانَتِ الْحَيَاةُ خَيْرًا لِي، وَتَوَفَّنِي إِذَا كَانَتِ الْوَفَاةُ خَيْرًا لِي.

Allāhumma aḥyinī mā kānati l-ḥayātu khayran lī, wa-tawaffanī idhā kānati l-wafātu khayran lī.

خودایە، بمژێنە هەتا ژیان بۆم باشترە، و بممرێنە کاتێک مردن بۆم باشترە.

O Allah, keep me alive as long as life is better for me, and take me when death is better for me.

ئەی گۆڕەری دڵەکان، دڵم لەسەر ئایینەکەت جێگیر بکە.

O Turner of hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion.

بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ، وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْكَ، وَجَمَعَ بَيْنَكُمَا فِي خَيْرٍ.

Bāraka Llāhu lak, wa-bāraka ʿalayk, wa-jamaʿa baynakumā fī khayr.

خودا بەرەکەتت پێبدات، و بەرەکەتت بەسەردا بڕژێنێت، و بە خێر کۆتان بکاتەوە.

May Allah bless you, and send blessings upon you, and join you both in good.

بۆ پاراستنی منداڵ

Over a child

أُعِيذُكُمَا بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ، مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ.

Uʿīdhukumā bi-kalimāti Llāhi t-tāmmah, min kulli shayṭānin wa-hāmmah, wa-min kulli ʿaynin lāmmah.

هەردووکتان دەخەمە پەنای وشە تەواوەکانی خودا، لە هەموو شەیتانێک و هەموو مێروویەکی ژەهراوی، و لە هەموو چاوێکی زیانبەخش.

I place you both in the shelter of the perfect words of Allah, from every devil and every crawling thing, and from every eye that harms.

Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī — the Prophet ﷺ sought refuge for al-Ḥasan and al-Ḥusayn with these words

بۆ کەسێکی مردوو

For someone who has died

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ، وَعَافِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ، وَأَكْرِمْ نُزُلَهُ، وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهُ، وَاغْسِلْهُ بِالْمَاءِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ، وَنَقِّهِ مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا يُنَقَّى الثَّوْبُ الْأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ.

Allāhumma ghfir lahu wa-rḥamh, wa-ʿāfihi wa-ʿfu ʿanh, wa-akrim nuzulah, wa-wassiʿ mudkhalah, wa-ghsilhu bi-l-mā'i wa-th-thalji wa-l-barad, wa-naqqihi mina l-khaṭāyā kamā yunaqqā th-thawbu l-abyaḍu mina d-danas.

خودایە، لێی خۆش بە و بەزەییت پێیدا بێتەوە، ئاسوودەی بکە و لێی ببوورە، هاتنی بەڕێز بکە و جێگاکەی فراوان بکە. بە ئاو و بەفر و تەرزە بیشۆرەوە، و لە هەڵەکان پاکی بکەرەوە وەک چۆن جلی سپی لە پیسی پاک دەکرێتەوە.

O Allah, forgive them and have mercy on them, keep them safe and pardon them, honour their arrival and widen their entrance. Wash them with water, snow and hail, and cleanse them of their wrongs as a white garment is cleansed of dirt.

بۆ ئەو کەسەی نانی داویت

For whoever fed you

اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِيمَا رَزَقْتَهُمْ، وَاغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ.

Allāhumma bārik lahum fīmā razaqtahum, wa-ghfir lahum wa-rḥamhum.

خودایە، بەرەکەتیان تێ بخە لەوەی ڕۆزیت کردوون، و لێیان خۆش بە و بەزەییت پێیاندا بێتەوە.

O Allah, bless them in what You have provided them, and forgive them and have mercy on them.

نزا گرنگەکەی ناو نوێژ — لە تەشەهودا

In the tashahhud, before the salām

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ، وَمِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min ʿadhābi jahannam, wa-min ʿadhābi l-qabr, wa-min fitnati l-maḥyā wa-l-mamāt, wa-min sharri fitnati l-Masīḥi d-Dajjāl.

خودایە، پەنا دەگرم بە تۆ لە سزای دۆزەخ، لە سزای گۆڕ، لە فیتنەی ژیان و مردن، و لە خراپەی فیتنەی مەسیحی دەججال.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of Hell, from the punishment of the grave, from the trial of life and death, and from the evil of the trial of the false messiah.

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ، سُبْحَانَ اللهِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مُوجِبَاتِ رَحْمَتِكَ، وَعَزَائِمَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ، وَالْغَنِيمَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ بِرٍّ، وَالسَّلَامَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ إِثْمٍ، اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَدَعْ لِي ذَنْبًا إِلَّا غَفَرْتَهُ، وَلَا هَمًّا إِلَّا فَرَّجْتَهُ، وَلَا حَاجَةً هِيَ لَكَ رِضًا إِلَّا قَضَيْتَهَا يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

Lā ilāha illā Llāhu l-Ḥalīmu l-Karīm, subḥāna Llāhi Rabbi l-ʿarshi l-ʿaẓīm, al-ḥamdu li-Llāhi Rabbi l-ʿālamīn, Allāhumma innī as'aluka mūjibāti raḥmatik, wa-ʿazā'ima maghfiratik, wa-l-ghanīmata min kulli birr, wa-s-salāmata min kulli ithm, Allāhumma lā tadaʿ lī dhanban illā ghafartah, wa-lā hamman illā farrajtah, wa-lā ḥājatan hiya laka riḍan illā qaḍaytahā yā Arḥama r-rāḥimīn.

هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە خودای خۆڕاگر و بەڕێز. پاکی بۆ خودا، پەروەردگاری عەرشی مەزن. ستایش بۆ خودا، پەروەردگاری جیهانیان. خودایە، داوای هۆکارەکانی بەزەییت لێدەکەم، و بڕیاری لێخۆشبوونت، و بەشێک لە هەموو چاکەیەک، و ئاسوودەیی لە هەموو گوناهێک. خودایە، هیچ گوناهێکم بۆ مەهێڵەرەوە بەبێ لێخۆشبوون، و هیچ خەمێک بەبێ کردنەوە، و هیچ پێویستییەک کە ڕەزامەندی تۆی تێدایە بەبێ جێبەجێکردن، ئەی میهرەبانترینی میهرەبانان.

There is no god but Allah, the Forbearing, the Generous. Glory be to Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne. All praise is for Allah, Lord of the worlds. O Allah, I ask You for all that brings Your mercy, for the resolve of Your forgiveness, for a share of every righteousness and safety from every sin. O Allah, leave me no sin unforgiven, no anxiety unrelieved, and no need that pleases You unmet, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

باشترین دوعا بۆ ئەوەی خێرا وەڵام وەربگرێتەوە

Three calls, said three times each

يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ أَكْرِمْنِي.

اللهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيرًا، وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا.

يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ، يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ، يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

Yā Dhā l-jalāli wa-l-ikrāmi akrimnī.

Allāhu akbaru kabīrā, wa-l-ḥamdu li-Llāhi kathīrā, wa-subḥāna Llāhi bukratan wa-aṣīlā.

Yā Ḥayyu yā Qayyūm, yā Dhā l-jalāli wa-l-ikrām, yā Arḥama r-rāḥimīn.

ئەی خاوەنی شکۆ و ڕێز، ڕێزم لێ بگرە. خودا مەزنترینە، ستایشی زۆر بۆ خودا، و پاکی بۆ خودا بەیانی و ئێوارە. ئەی زیندوو، ئەی ڕاگر، ئەی خاوەنی شکۆ و ڕێز، ئەی میهرەبانترینی میهرەبانان.

O Possessor of majesty and honour, honour me. Allah is greatest, greatest of all; all praise is for Allah, abundantly; and glory be to Allah, morning and evening. O Ever-Living, O Sustainer, O Possessor of majesty and honour, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

١٠٥

دوعای خۆشەویستمانە — بۆ قبووڵبوونی دوعا

The duʿā of the blind man

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ وَأَتَوَجَّهُ إِلَيْكَ بِنَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ نَبِيِّ الرَّحْمَةِ، يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنِّي أَتَوَجَّهُ بِكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي فِي حَاجَتِي هَٰذِهِ فَتُقْضَىٰ.

Allāhumma innī as'aluka wa-atawajjahu ilayka bi-nabiyyika Muḥammadin ﷺ nabiyyi r-raḥmah, yā Muḥammadu innī atawajjahu bika ilā Rabbī fī ḥājatī hādhihi fa-tuqḍā.

خودایە، داوات لێدەکەم و ڕوو لە تۆ دەکەم بە پێغەمبەرەکەت محمد ﷺ، پێغەمبەری بەزەیی. ئەی محمد، من بە تۆ ڕوو لە پەروەردگارم دەکەم لەم پێویستیەمدا، تا جێبەجێ بکرێت.

O Allah, I ask You and I turn toward You by Your Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ, the Prophet of mercy. O Muḥammad, I turn by you toward my Lord in this need of mine, that it may be granted.

١٠٦

نوێژی ئیستیخارە — پێش بڕیارێکی گەورە

Before a decision — after two rakʿahs, naming the matter

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ، وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيمِ، فَإِنَّكَ تَقْدِرُ وَلَا أَقْدِرُ، وَتَعْلَمُ وَلَا أَعْلَمُ، وَأَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَٰذَا الْأَمْرَ خَيْرٌ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي، فَاقْدُرْهُ لِي وَيَسِّرْهُ لِي ثُمَّ بَارِكْ لِي فِيهِ.

وَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَٰذَا الْأَمْرَ شَرٌّ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي، فَاصْرِفْهُ عَنِّي وَاصْرِفْنِي عَنْهُ، وَاقْدُرْ لِيَ الْخَيْرَ حَيْثُ كَانَ ثُمَّ أَرْضِنِي بِهِ.

Allāhumma innī astakhīruka bi-ʿilmik, wa-astaqdiruka bi-qudratik, wa-as'aluka min faḍlika l-ʿaẓīm, fa-innaka taqdiru wa-lā aqdir, wa-taʿlamu wa-lā aʿlam, wa-anta ʿallāmu l-ghuyūb.

Allāhumma in kunta taʿlamu anna hādhā l-amra khayrun lī fī dīnī wa-maʿāshī wa-ʿāqibati amrī, fa-qdurhu lī wa-yassirhu lī thumma bārik lī fīh.

Wa-in kunta taʿlamu anna hādhā l-amra sharrun lī fī dīnī wa-maʿāshī wa-ʿāqibati amrī, fa-ṣrifhu ʿannī wa-ṣrifnī ʿanh, wa-qdur liya l-khayra ḥaythu kāna thumma arḍinī bih.

خودایە، بە زانستی تۆ داوای خێرت لێدەکەم، و بە تواناکەت داوای توانا دەکەم، و داوای بەخششە مەزنەکەت دەکەم — چونکە تۆ دەتوانیت و من ناتوانم، تۆ دەزانیت و من نازانم، و تۆ زانای هەموو نهێنییەکیت. خودایە، ئەگەر دەزانیت ئەم کارە بۆ من چاکە لە ئایین و ژیان و ئەنجامی کارمدا، بۆم بڕیار بدە و بۆم ئاسانی بکە و پاشان بەرەکەتی تێدا بخە. و ئەگەر دەزانیت ئەم کارە بۆ من خراپە لە ئایین و ژیان و ئەنجامی کارمدا، لێم دووری بخەرەوە و منیشی لێ دوور بخەرەوە، و خێرم بۆ بڕیار بدە لە هەرکوێ بێت، پاشان پێی ڕازیم بکە.

O Allah, I seek Your guidance by Your knowledge, and Your power by Your might, and I ask You of Your immense bounty — for You are able and I am not, You know and I do not, and You are the Knower of all that is hidden. O Allah, if You know this matter to be good for me in my religion, my living and the outcome of my affair, then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless me in it. And if You know it to be bad for me in my religion, my living and the outcome of my affair, then turn it away from me and turn me away from it, and decree for me the good wherever it may be, and then make me content with it.

سەڵات بۆ پێغەمبەر ﷺ لە کۆتایی نوێژدا

Blessings on the Prophet ﷺ, in the tashahhud

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ.

اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ.

Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā Muḥammadin wa-ʿalā āli Muḥammad, kamā ṣallayta ʿalā Ibrāhīma wa-ʿalā āli Ibrāhīm, innaka Ḥamīdun Majīd.

Allāhumma bārik ʿalā Muḥammadin wa-ʿalā āli Muḥammad, kamā bārakta ʿalā Ibrāhīma wa-ʿalā āli Ibrāhīm, innaka Ḥamīdun Majīd.

خودایە، سەڵات بنێرە بۆ سەر محمد و بنەماڵەی محمد، وەک چۆن سەڵاتت نارد بۆ سەر ئیبراهیم و بنەماڵەی ئیبراهیم. بەڕاستی تۆ ستایشکراو و شکۆداریت. خودایە، بەرەکەت بنێرە بۆ سەر محمد و بنەماڵەی محمد، وەک چۆن بەرەکەتت نارد بۆ سەر ئیبراهیم و بنەماڵەی ئیبراهیم. بەڕاستی تۆ ستایشکراو و شکۆداریت.

O Allah, send blessings upon Muḥammad and the family of Muḥammad, as You sent blessings upon Ibrāhīm and the family of Ibrāhīm. Truly You are Praiseworthy, Glorious. O Allah, send favour upon Muḥammad and the family of Muḥammad, as You sent favour upon Ibrāhīm and the family of Ibrāhīm. Truly You are Praiseworthy, Glorious.

قونوتی وتر

The qunūt of witr

اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ، وَعَافِنِي فِيمَنْ عَافَيْتَ، وَتَوَلَّنِي فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّيْتَ، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَ، وَقِنِي شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَ، فَإِنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلَا يُقْضَىٰ عَلَيْكَ، وَإِنَّهُ لَا يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ، تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَ.

Allāhumma hdinī fīman hadayt, wa-ʿāfinī fīman ʿāfayt, wa-tawallanī fīman tawallayt, wa-bārik lī fīmā aʿṭayt, wa-qinī sharra mā qaḍayt, fa-innaka taqḍī wa-lā yuqḍā ʿalayk, wa-innahu lā yadhillu man wālayt, tabārakta Rabbanā wa-taʿālayt.

خودایە، ڕێنماییم بکە لەگەڵ ئەوانەی ڕێنماییت کردوون، تەندروستیم پێببەخشە لەگەڵ ئەوانەی تەندروستیت پێبەخشیوون، بمخەرە ژێر چاودێریت لەگەڵ ئەوانەی چاودێریت کردوون، بەرەکەتم بدە لەوەی پێتداوم، و لە خراپەی ئەوەی بڕیارت داوە بمپارێزە. چونکە تۆ بڕیار دەدەیت و بڕیار لەسەر تۆ نادرێت، و ئەوەی تۆ دۆستی بێت شەرمەزار نابێت. بەرەکەتدار و بەرزیت، ئەی پەروەردگارمان.

O Allah, guide me among those You have guided, grant me wellbeing among those You have granted wellbeing, take me into Your care among those You have taken into Your care, bless me in what You have given, and protect me from the evil of what You have decreed. For You decree and none decrees against You, and none You befriend is ever humiliated. Blessed are You, our Lord, and exalted.

دوای بانگ

After the call to prayer

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَٰذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ، وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ، آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ، وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ.

Allāhumma Rabba hādhihi d-daʿwati t-tāmmah, wa-ṣ-ṣalāti l-qā'imah, āti Muḥammadan al-wasīlata wa-l-faḍīlah, wa-bʿathhu maqāman maḥmūdan alladhī waʿadtah.

خودایە، پەروەردگاری ئەم بانگە تەواوە و ئەم نوێژە هەڵساوە، وەسیلە و فەزڵ بە محمد ببەخشە، و لەو جێگا ستایشکراوەی بەڵێنت پێداوە هەڵیبستێنە.

O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and of the prayer about to be established, grant Muḥammad the means and the excellence, and raise him to the praised station You promised him.

١١٠

لە نێوان دوو سوجدەدا

Sitting between the two prostrations

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي، رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي.

Rabbi ghfir lī, Rabbi ghfir lī.

پەروەردگارم، لێم خۆش بە. پەروەردگارم، لێم خۆش بە.

My Lord, forgive me. My Lord, forgive me.

In bowing, and in prostration — three times each

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْعَظِيمِ.

Subḥāna Rabbiya l-Aʿlā.

لە ڕکوعدا: پاکی بۆ پەروەردگاری مەزنم. لە سوجدەدا: پاکی بۆ پەروەردگاری بەرزم.

In bowing: Glory be to my Lord, the Mighty. In prostration: Glory be to my Lord, the Most High.

کاتێک لە خەو هەڵدەستیت

On waking

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ.

Al-ḥamdu li-Llāhi lladhī aḥyānā baʿda mā amātanā wa-ilayhi n-nushūr.

ستایش بۆ خودا کە دوای مردنمان ژیانی پێداینەوە، و زیندووبوونەوە بۆ لای ئەوە.

All praise is for Allah, who gave us life after He caused us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.

١١٣

کاتێک دەچیتە ناو جێگە

Lying down to sleep

بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا.

Bismika Allāhumma amūtu wa-aḥyā.

بە ناوی تۆ، خودایە، دەمرم و دەژیم.

In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.

١١٤

کاتێک لە ماڵەوە دەردەچیت

Leaving the house

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ.

Bismi Llāh, tawakkaltu ʿalā Llāh, wa-lā ḥawla wa-lā quwwata illā bi-Llāh.

بە ناوی خودا. پشتم بە خودا بەستووە. هیچ هێز و توانایەک نییە جگە بە خودا.

In the name of Allah. I place my trust in Allah. There is no power and no strength except by Allah.

Before entering the washroom

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ.

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika mina l-khubuthi wa-l-khabā'ith.

خودایە، پەنا دەگرم بە تۆ لە هەموو ڕۆحە پیسەکان، نێر و مێ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from all foul male and female spirits.

دوای نانخواردن

After a meal

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِي هَٰذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ.

Al-ḥamdu li-Llāhi lladhī aṭʿamanī hādhā wa-razaqanīhi min ghayri ḥawlin minnī wa-lā quwwah.

ستایش بۆ خودا کە ئەمەی پێدام و ڕۆزیمی کرد، بەبێ هیچ هێز و توانایەک لە منەوە.

All praise is for Allah, who fed me this and provided it for me with no power or strength of my own.

١١٧

چوونە ژوورەوە و دەرچوون لە مزگەوت

Entering, and leaving, the mosque

اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ.

Allāhumma ftaḥ lī abwāba raḥmatik.

Allāhumma innī as'aluka min faḍlik.

لە کاتی چوونەژوورەوە: خودایە، دەرگاکانی بەزەییت بۆم بکەرەوە. لە کاتی دەرچوون: خودایە، داوای بەخششت لێدەکەم.

On entering: O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy. On leaving: O Allah, I ask You from Your bounty.

١١٨

کاتێک سواری ئۆتۆمبێل یان فڕۆکە دەبیت

Setting out — in a car, on a plane

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ، وَإِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ فِي سَفَرِنَا هَٰذَا الْبِرَّ وَالتَّقْوَىٰ، وَمِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا تَرْضَىٰ. اللَّهُمَّ هَوِّنْ عَلَيْنَا سَفَرَنَا هَٰذَا وَاطْوِ عَنَّا بُعْدَهُ.

Subḥāna lladhī sakhkhara lanā hādhā wa-mā kunnā lahu muqrinīn, wa-innā ilā Rabbinā la-munqalibūn.

Allāhumma innā nas'aluka fī safarinā hādhā l-birra wa-t-taqwā, wa-mina l-ʿamali mā tarḍā. Allāhumma hawwin ʿalaynā safaranā hādhā wa-ṭwi ʿannā buʿdah.

پاکی بۆ ئەوەی ئەمەی بۆمان ڕام کرد، ئێمە خۆمان نەماندەتوانی، و بێگومان ئێمە بۆ لای پەروەردگارمان دەگەڕێینەوە. خودایە، لەم سەفەرەماندا داوای چاکە و لەخواترسیت لێدەکەین، و لە کردەوەکان ئەوەی ڕەزامەندی تۆی تێدایە. خودایە، ئەم سەفەرەمان ئاسان بکە و دووریەکەی بۆ کورت بکەرەوە.

Glory be to Him who has made this subservient to us, for we could never have done it ourselves, and to our Lord we are surely returning. O Allah, we ask You on this journey of ours for righteousness and mindfulness of You, and for deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and fold up its distance.

کاتێک باران دەبارێت

When it rains

اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا.

Allāhumma ṣayyiban nāfiʿā.

خودایە، بارانێکی سوودبەخشی بکە.

O Allah, make it a rain that brings benefit.

کاتێک با هەڵدەکات

When the wind rises

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهَا وَخَيْرَ مَا فِيهَا وَخَيْرَ مَا أُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ مَا فِيهَا وَشَرِّ مَا أُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ.

Allāhumma innī as'aluka khayrahā wa-khayra mā fīhā wa-khayra mā ursilat bih, wa-aʿūdhu bika min sharrihā wa-sharri mā fīhā wa-sharri mā ursilat bih.

خودایە، داوای خێری ئەو، و خێری ئەوەی تێیدایە، و خێری ئەوەی پێی نێردراوەت لێدەکەم؛ و پەنا دەگرم بە تۆ لە خراپەی ئەو، و خراپەی ئەوەی تێیدایە، و خراپەی ئەوەی پێی نێردراوە.

O Allah, I ask You for its good, the good in it, and the good it was sent with; and I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil in it, and the evil it was sent with.

١٢١

کاتێک لە کۆبوونەوەیەک هەڵدەستیت

Rising from any gathering

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ.

Subḥānaka Allāhumma wa-bi-ḥamdik, ash-hadu an lā ilāha illā ant, astaghfiruka wa-atūbu ilayk.

پاکی بۆ تۆ، خودایە، و ستایش بۆ تۆ. شایەتی دەدەم کە هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە تۆ. داوای لێخۆشبوونت لێدەکەم و بۆ لات دەگەڕێمەوە.

Glory be to You, O Allah, and all praise is Yours. I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek Your forgiveness and I turn to You.

١٢٢

کاتێک دەچیتە بازاڕ

Entering a market or a mall

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ، وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ، بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ.

Lā ilāha illā Llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahu l-mulku wa-lahu l-ḥamd, yuḥyī wa-yumīt, wa-huwa ḥayyun lā yamūt, bi-yadihi l-khayr, wa-huwa ʿalā kulli shay'in qadīr.

هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە خودای تاک و بێهاوبەش. موڵک و ستایش هی ئەوە. ژیان دەبەخشێت و دەمرێنێت، و ئەو زیندووە و نامرێت. خێر بە دەستی ئەوە، و ئەو بەسەر هەموو شتێکدا توانایە.

There is no god but Allah alone, no partner beside Him. His is the dominion and His is the praise. He gives life and death, and He is Living and does not die. In His hand is all good, and He has power over all things.

١٢٣

کاتێک تووڕە دەبیت

When anger rises

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ.

Aʿūdhu bi-Llāhi mina sh-shayṭāni r-rajīm.

پەنا دەگرم بە خودا لە شەیتانی ڕەجمکراو.

I seek refuge in Allah from the outcast devil.

١٢٤

کاتێک ڕۆژوو دەشکێنیت

Breaking the fast

ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ، وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ، وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ.

Dhahaba ẓ-ẓama', wa-btallati l-ʿurūq, wa-thabata l-ajru in shā'a Llāh.

تینووێتی ڕۆیشت، ڕەگەکان تەڕ بوون، و پاداشت جێگیر بوو، ئەگەر خودا بیەوێت.

The thirst has gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is secured, if Allah wills.

Leaving the washroom

غُفْرَانَكَ.

١٢٧

دوای دەستنوێژ

After wuḍūʾ

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ.

Ash-hadu an lā ilāha illā Llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, wa-ash-hadu anna Muḥammadan ʿabduhu wa-rasūluh.

شایەتی دەدەم کە هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە خودای تاک و بێهاوبەش، و شایەتی دەدەم کە محمد بەندە و پێغەمبەری ئەوە.

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, no partner beside Him, and I bear witness that Muḥammad is His servant and His messenger.

Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim — the eight gates of Paradise are opened for whoever says it
١٢٨

کاتێک پرووشە دەکەیت — و وەڵامەکەی

Sneezing — and the reply, and the answer

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ.

يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ.

يَهْدِيكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ.

Al-ḥamdu li-Llāh.

Yarḥamuka Llāh.

Yahdīkumu Llāhu wa-yuṣliḥu bālakum.

ئەوەی پرووشەی کرد: ستایش بۆ خودا. وەڵامەکە: خودا بەزەییت پێدا بێتەوە. وەڵامی وەڵام: خودا ڕێنماییتان بکات و کاروبارتان ڕێک بخات.

The one who sneezes: All praise is for Allah. The reply: May Allah have mercy on you. The answer: May Allah guide you and set your affairs right.

کاتێک جلی نوێ لەبەر دەکەیت

Putting on new clothes

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي كَسَانِي هَٰذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ.

Al-ḥamdu li-Llāhi lladhī kasānī hādhā wa-razaqanīhi min ghayri ḥawlin minnī wa-lā quwwah.

ستایش بۆ خودا کە ئەمەی لەبەرم کرد و ڕۆزیمی کرد، بەبێ هیچ هێز و توانایەک لە منەوە.

All praise is for Allah, who clothed me in this and provided it for me with no power or strength of my own.

کاتێک هەورەتریشقە دەبیستیت

Hearing thunder

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي يُسَبِّحُ الرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِ.

Subḥāna lladhī yusabbiḥu r-raʿdu bi-ḥamdihi wa-l-malā'ikatu min khīfatih.

پاکی بۆ ئەوەی هەورەتریشقە بە ستایشی ئەو تەسبیحات دەکات، و فریشتەکانیش لە ترسی ئەو.

Glory be to Him whom the thunder glorifies with His praise, and the angels too, out of awe of Him.

کاتێک لە سەفەر دەگەڕێیتەوە

Coming home from a journey

آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ.

Ā'ibūna tā'ibūna ʿābidūna li-Rabbinā ḥāmidūn.

گەڕاوینەتەوە، تەوبەکارین، پەرستکارین، و ستایشکەری پەروەردگارمانین.

Returning, repenting, worshipping, and praising our Lord.

١٣٢

کاتێک مانگی نوێ دەبینیت

Seeing the new moon

اللَّهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْيُمْنِ وَالْإِيمَانِ، وَالسَّلَامَةِ وَالْإِسْلَامِ، رَبِّي وَرَبُّكَ اللَّهُ.

Allāhumma ahillahu ʿalaynā bi-l-yumni wa-l-īmān, wa-s-salāmati wa-l-islām, Rabbī wa-Rabbuka Llāh.

خودایە، بە خێر و ئیمان، بە ئاسوودەیی و ئیسلام بەسەرماندا بیهێنە. پەروەردگاری من و تۆ خودایە.

O Allah, bring it over us with blessing and faith, with safety and submission. My Lord and your Lord is Allah.

١٣٣

کاتێک بە شەو خەبەرت دەبێتەوە

Waking in the night

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ، رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا الْعَزِيزُ الْغَفَّارُ.

Lā ilāha illā Llāhu l-Wāḥidu l-Qahhār, Rabbu s-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi wa-mā baynahumā l-ʿAzīzu l-Ghaffār.

هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە خودای تاک و بەزۆردار، پەروەردگاری ئاسمانەکان و زەوی و ئەوەی لە نێوانیاندایە، بەهێز و زۆر لێبووردە.

There is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer, Lord of the heavens and the earth and all between them, the Mighty, the Ever-Forgiving.

Death and the Hereafter

Asking for the end to be a rest rather than a loss.

بۆ مردنێکی پڕ بەرەکەت

For a death that is a mercy

اللَّهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِي دِينِي الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أَمْرِي، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي دُنْيَايَ الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَاشِي، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي آخِرَتِي الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَادِي، وَاجْعَلِ الْحَيَاةَ زِيَادَةً لِي فِي كُلِّ خَيْرٍ، وَاجْعَلِ الْمَوْتَ رَاحَةً لِي مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ.

Allāhumma aṣliḥ lī dīniya lladhī huwa ʿiṣmatu amrī, wa-aṣliḥ lī dunyāya llatī fīhā maʿāshī, wa-aṣliḥ lī ākhiratī llatī fīhā maʿādī, wa-jʿali l-ḥayāta ziyādatan lī fī kulli khayr, wa-jʿali l-mawta rāḥatan lī min kulli sharr.

خودایە، ئایینم بۆ ڕێک بخە، کە پارێزەری کارەکانمە؛ دونیام بۆ ڕێک بخە، کە ژیانم تێیدایە؛ دواڕۆژم بۆ ڕێک بخە، کە گەڕانەوەم بۆیەتی. ژیان بکە بە زیادبوونی هەموو خێرێک بۆم، و مردن بکە بە حەسانەوەیەک لە هەموو خراپەیەک.

O Allah, set right for me my religion, which is the safeguard of my affairs; set right for me my world, in which is my living; set right for me my Hereafter, to which is my return. Make life an increase for me in every good, and make death a rest for me from every evil.

For Paradise, and refuge from the Fire

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ.

Allāhumma innī as'aluka l-jannata wa-aʿūdhu bika mina n-nār.

خودایە، داوای بەهەشتت لێدەکەم و پەنا دەگرم بە تۆ لە ئاگر.

O Allah, I ask You for Paradise and I seek refuge in You from the Fire.

Asking for the highest Paradise

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْفِرْدَوْسَ الْأَعْلَىٰ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ بِلَا حِسَابٍ وَلَا سَابِقِ عَذَابٍ.

Allāhumma innī as'aluka l-Firdawsa l-aʿlā mina l-jannati bi-lā ḥisābin wa-lā sābiqi ʿadhāb.

خودایە، داوای فیردەوسی بەرزی بەهەشتت لێدەکەم، بەبێ حساب و بەبێ هیچ سزایەکی پێشوو.

O Allah, I ask You for the highest Firdaws of Paradise, without reckoning and without any punishment preceding it.

هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە خودای تاک و بێهاوبەش. موڵک و ستایش هی ئەوە، و ئەو بەسەر هەموو شتێکدا توانایە.

There is no god but Allah alone, no partner beside Him. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things.

خودایە، بۆ تۆ ڕۆژووم گرت، و بە ڕۆزی تۆ ڕۆژووم شکاند.

O Allah, for You I fasted, and with Your provision I break my fast.

لە شەوی قەدردا

On Laylat al-Qadr

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ كَرِيمٌ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي.

Allāhumma innaka ʿafuwwun karīmun tuḥibbu l-ʿafwa fa-ʿfu ʿannī.

خودایە، بەڕاستی تۆ لێبووردە و بەڕێزیت و لێبوردنت خۆشدەوێت، کەواتە لێم ببوورە.

O Allah, You are Pardoning and Generous, and You love to pardon, so pardon me.

at-Tirmidhī — ʿĀʾishah asked what to say if she found Laylat al-Qadr
١٤٤

لە کاتی بەیانی نانی سەحەری

At suḥūr

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، وَنَوَيْتُ صَوْمَ غَدٍ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ.

Bismi Llāh, wa-nawaytu ṣawma ghadin min shahri Ramaḍān.

بە ناوی خودا. نیەتم کرد سبەینێ ڕۆژووی مانگی ڕەمەزان بگرم.

In the name of Allah. I intend to fast tomorrow of the month of Ramadan.

If someone provokes you while fasting

لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ، لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ، لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ.

Labbayka Llāhumma labbayk, labbayka lā sharīka laka labbayk, inna l-ḥamda wa-n-niʿmata laka wa-l-mulk, lā sharīka lak.

ئامادەم، خودایە، ئامادەم. ئامادەم، هاوبەشت نییە، ئامادەم. بەڕاستی ستایش و نیعمەت هی تۆیە و موڵکیش. هاوبەشت نییە.

Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. All praise and favour are Yours, and the dominion. You have no partner.

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ.

Rabbanā ātinā fī d-dunyā ḥasanatan wa-fī l-ākhirati ḥasanatan wa-qinā ʿadhāba n-nār.

پەروەردگارمان، لەم دونیایە چاکەمان پێبدە و لە دواڕۆژیشدا چاکە، و لە سزای ئاگر بمانپارێزە.

Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

لەسەر سەفا و مەروە

On Ṣafā and Marwah

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ.

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ، أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ، وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ.

Allāhu akbar, Allāhu akbar, Allāhu akbar.

Lā ilāha illā Llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahu l-mulku wa-lahu l-ḥamdu wa-huwa ʿalā kulli shay'in qadīr, lā ilāha illā Llāhu waḥdah, anjaza waʿdah, wa-naṣara ʿabdah, wa-hazama l-aḥzāba waḥdah.

خودا مەزنترینە، خودا مەزنترینە، خودا مەزنترینە. هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە خودای تاک و بێهاوبەش؛ موڵک و ستایش هی ئەوە و ئەو بەسەر هەموو شتێکدا توانایە. هیچ خودایەک نییە جگە لە خودای تاک. بەڵێنەکەی بردەسەر، بەندەکەی سەرکەوتوو کرد، و بە تەنها هێزەکانی دژی تێکشکاند.

Allah is greatest, Allah is greatest, Allah is greatest. There is no god but Allah alone, no partner beside Him; His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things. There is no god but Allah alone. He fulfilled His promise, gave victory to His servant, and defeated the confederates alone.

ڕۆژی عەرەفە — باشترین دوعا

Allāhumma innī as'aluka ʿilman nāfiʿā, wa-rizqan wāsiʿā, wa-shifā'an min kulli dā'.

خودایە، داوای زانستی سوودبەخش، ڕۆزی فراوان، و شیفا لە هەموو نەخۆشییەکت لێدەکەم.

O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that benefits, provision that is wide, and healing from every illness.

First — take refuge

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ.

Aʿūdhu bi-Llāhi mina sh-shayṭāni r-rajīm.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.

پەنا دەگرم بە خودا لە شەیتانی ڕەجمکراو. بە ناوی خودای بەخشندەی میهرەبان.

I seek refuge in Allah from the outcast devil. In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.

١٥٣

دووەم — سێ سورەتەکە، سێ جار، ئینجا دەست بەسەر لەشدا بهێنە

Second — the three, three times, then wipe over the body

قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ … وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ … وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ.

Qul huwa Llāhu aḥad … wa-qul aʿūdhu bi-Rabbi l-falaq … wa-qul aʿūdhu bi-Rabbi n-nās.

سورەتی ئیخلاس و فەلەق و ناس — دەقی تەواویان لە بەشی پاراستندایە.

سێیەم — دەست بخە سەر جێی ئازار

Third — hand on the pain

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ، اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا.

Allāhumma Rabba n-nās, adhhibi l-ba's, ishfi anta sh-Shāfī, lā shifā'a illā shifā'uk, shifā'an lā yughādiru saqamā.

خودایە، پەروەردگاری خەڵکی، ناخۆشی لاببە. شیفا بدە — تۆ شیفادەریت. هیچ شیفایەک نییە جگە لە شیفای تۆ: شیفایەک کە هیچ نەخۆشییەک بەجێ نەهێڵێت.

O Allah, Lord of mankind, take away the affliction. Heal — You are the Healer. There is no healing but Your healing: a healing that leaves no illness behind.

Fourth

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ، مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ، مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ أَوْ عَيْنِ حَاسِدٍ، اللَّهُ يَشْفِيكَ، بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ.

Bismi Llāhi arqīk, min kulli shay'in yu'dhīk, min sharri kulli nafsin aw ʿayni ḥāsid, Allāhu yashfīk, bismi Llāhi arqīk.

بە ناوی خودا لەسەرت دەخوێنمەوە، لە هەموو شتێک کە ئازارت دەدات، لە خراپەی هەموو گیانێک و هەموو چاوێکی چاوپیس. خودا شیفات بدات. بە ناوی خودا لەسەرت دەخوێنمەوە.

In the name of Allah I recite over you, from everything that harms you, from the evil of every soul and every envious eye. May Allah heal you. In the name of Allah I recite over you.

١٥٦

پێنجەم — حەوت جار

Fifth — seven times

أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ، رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ.

As'alu Llāha l-ʿAẓīm, Rabba l-ʿarshi l-ʿaẓīm, an yashfiyak.

داوا لە خودای مەزن دەکەم، پەروەردگاری عەرشی مەزن، کە شیفات بدات.

I ask Allah the Mighty, Lord of the Mighty Throne, to heal you.

Sunan at-Tirmidhī — said seven times over one who is ill

Luqmān16

يَأْتِ بِهَا اللهُ ۚ إِنَّ اللهَ لَطِيفٌ خَبِيرٌ

Allah will bring it forth.
